This is my church home and I am proud to worship there. This is a more laid back, casual atmosphere that strives to make everyone feel comfortable no matter where they are in their spiritual walk. In addition to spiritual nourishment, we offer multiple church and community events throughout the year. We do all this for the building of the kingdom and so that the Gulf Coast (and everyone else), will be saved.
Came all the way from Coffeeville to do some Christmasing and stopped to see the nights in lights well worth the $5 and the Cafe was awesome......nice to see a church basically dumping money back into the community with all they've been blessed with.
I had the privilege of visiting this church this morning. It was an amazing service and moreover, this pastor preached the Word of God. So many churches today are “feel good” and have no substance. This one, however, makes you feel the love of each other AND the love of Jesus. I will be visiting here when I am back in town.
We do not attend church here, however everyone has always been so kind and welcoming when we visited the WONDERFULLY shaded playground ( with big fans! ). Today we visited the splash pad for the first time. Again everyone is so kind. Even the big kids are so respectful to my little ones. The cafe is lovely and Rebekah was so welcoming. I wish I lived closer. I imagine the church is just as welcoming. What a wonderful community service to help the children beat the heat!
My family and I have been apart of this “ church family” for just over a year. We absolutely loved the casual laid back environment and all the activities put on. We also loved that you could donate to the dollar club if you weren’t comfortable with tithing. Nor my husband or I had been raised to pay tithing but were actually very seriously considering it and would put money towards the dollar club. May 1st I was laid off and am the sole provider for our home. Finances became really tight and how we were going to pay rent was at the height of our concern. We turned to the church in our time of uncertainty with faith. They turned us down because there was no record of us paying tithing. This was the moment we decided this was not the right church. God was still at work in our lives and a couple things came through which not only paid our rent but will get us by while I transition into my new role and position. In my opinion helping others should not be done as a bank transaction. It should be based on need. My faith is in god is not shaken but my faith in coastal is gone.
