Thank you to the Clear Path Learning Center for an incredible early childhood curriculum that engages and teaches at all steps of the day, and a special thanks to Louise and her staff; they continue to do amazing works of "heart" with all children. The Assistant Director answered all of my many questions and once we did drop her off the first day, she was there, with tissues in hand, assuring us that our baby would be OK and that we could call her anytime to see how she was doing. And, she meant it. Anytime I called, she would check in on her and let me know how she was doing, and what she was doing. My child has learned so much and continues to share with me the great activities that go on each day at "school!" The teachers and director look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. The added attention they provide to each individual is extraordinary from the start of the school day they greet the children and families beginning at the car line and create individualized home practice sets; which include miraculous tips and tricks to make learning fun. I am really expecting to get one of the limited seats for my son when he is old enough to attend because I know he will have an exceptional start to how he views education and will be in wonderful caring hands. I love all the pictures and continues updates through the private family site, it really gives me insight to the activities my daughter is so eager to share each day, just another way they connect with their learners and families, that really makes a lifelong impression. Fabulous! Amazing! Top-Notch! I could go on and on with just what I think of this wonderful school. I am thoroughly impressed with how much my son has learned since beginning there in September. He had a good knowledge base entering pre-k and his growth has been remarkable! As a teacher myself, I know the importance of a quality, positive early learning experience. Living on the Northside of Marion County, there are very limited choices when it comes to childcare--I am SO very thankful I found this hidden gem of a preschool! The students are lead by a former Marion County kindergarten teacher with many years of experience. The classroom is well organized and structured for fun and learning at the same time. The environment is clean, colorful, bright and encouraging for students. The ratio of students to teachers is low so students receive a lot of direct instruction and attention. Technology is incorporated into their days via I-pads or computer instruction. There is a beautiful and safe play area with a custom built train playground under tall welcoming shade trees. Students eat at picnic tables in the shade so they get to be outdoors; not confined inside all day. They have a large garden students are planting and maintaining. Everything about the school is visually pleasing, but most importantly, my son is learning everything he needs to give him a head start in kindergarten. Students receive individualized curriculum specific to their level--it's not cookie cutter! A lot of time and care is put into what classwork, homework and fun activities are sent home for students to learn. The assistant teacher is always searching for fun, new ideas to encourage the students to learn. She really cares about the children and wants to see them succeed. I love the fact they share pictures throughout the day with parents! I love to see my son interacting and learning! I would feel very confident to compare this program to any of the top programs in Ocala. I am so thankful that my original choice for pre-k was full because it made me find Clear Parh Learning Center. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone looking for a preschool. It is well worth the drive from Ocala. I am a picky person that is hard to please, especially when it comes to my children. It takes a lot to impress me and the school has done just that. My daughter will definitely be attending in another year when she is old enough. Highly recommend!
We are grateful that our children had the opportunity to learn from Mrs. Mentzer. Our 4 year old is now reading short books with 1-5 letter words and our 3 year old now recognizes the letters and numbers more. It was wonderful to have both of them in one place, they loved going there, and learned so much!
We just feel so secure knowing that our son is in this place. Not only having fun, but learning a lot, making friends, and building strong qualities in his character. We loved that the kids have the opportunity of do gardening, even milk a goat. It is so special that our son can't wait to be there every morning. Thank you CPLC.
