Clear Lake Montessori School

We have had such a wonderful experience with this Montessori school. My daughter has been here since she was just 20 months old, and now at 4 years old, it’s been incredible to watch how much she has grown: academically, socially, and emotionally. As a young, first-time mom, I was very hesitant to place her in just any program. I wanted to be sure she was somewhere safe, nurturing, and truly invested in her development. From the very beginning, this school exceeded my expectations. The teachers are incredibly patient, kind, and attentive, and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about each child. The small class sizes make such a difference, my daughter receives meaningful one-on-one attention and support, which has helped her build confidence and independence. She has also made so many great friends here, and she truly looks forward to going to school each day. I am so grateful for the environment they’ve created and for the role they’ve played in shaping these early years of my daughter’s life. I couldn’t recommend this school more highly.

I enrolled my niece (5yrs) in this Montessori school for the summer, and she absolutely loves the place! The teachers are incredibly patient and attentive. They really understand how to guide children at their own pace. The environment is bright, calm, and thoughtfully organized, and you can tell the staff truly cares about creating a space where kids feel safe and inspired. What impressed me most was how naturally my niece took to the Montessori approach. She wasn’t just “kept busy”; she was engaged. She explored, asked questions, and developed new skills without ever feeling pressured. If you’re looking for a nurturing, well-run Montessori program where children can genuinely thrive, I can’t recommend this school enough. My niece is already asking when she can go back, which says everything.

This school has been a great fit for my family! We recommend them to all our friends with young kids. When my son started here, he was very attached to me, and I was so worried about how he would do in a new setting. The toddler teachers were so kind and patient with him; they knew just how to help me at drop-off, since drop-offs were a huge challenge for my son. He was there until starting kindergarten this year. Now, he attends the after school program, which offers a ton of extracurriculars. He is taking Mandarin, yoga, art, and business classes after school. My daughter also attends here, and started in the infant room. I was so happy with the large area for the babies and toddlers to move around, as well as the teachers who provided the best support and care. I'm a nervous parent, and they never judged me for all of my special requests (cut the food this way, etc.). Plus, she became really advanced with her fine motor skills due to all the fine motor work they provided. The Montessori approach has been a great fit for my family. The Montessori method for learning reading and math is so amazing - so hands on and visual, and follows the child's interest. Both of my kids have learned independence, confidence, and care for their environment. The classrooms are bright and organized. Due to the Montessori philosophy, every item has a place, and the kids really take care to place items back where they belong. As a result, the classrooms always appear organized and neat. The playground is very natural-looking with plenty of shade. They also have a covered patio where the smaller kids can play. On top of all that, this school feels like a tight-knit family community. Every single teacher/staff knows my kids, and greets us warmly. I have close contact with the teachers when needed. When I call with any question or concern, the management takes me seriously. The teachers are calm and patient with the children - there is no yelling happening here, which is important to me. There are plenty of fun special events for the kids, which they really enjoy. In addition, a HUGE plus for this school is that they offer Spanish and Mandarin immersion for the 3+ year olds.

Very quiet and fully staffed. Air purifiers in all the rooms with very well trained and a patient teachers. We were very blessed to find this school when we did. Our child loves going to school.

I toured 5 local daycares before choosing this one. It’s a caring, warm safe environment and overall has a chill vibe. We appreciate the small classroom sizes and knowledgeable staff and teachers and it makes childcare feel like a community.
