I cannot express the love I have for Richardson Center. It's staff. They're amazing and my son is thriving. They treat him so well and he's learning at his pace. They've been a blessing in his journey and Ms.Anna is by far the most incredible teacher. She is meant for this roll and I'm so appreciative. There's not enough time to list all the great things about this school. We are lucky to have come across it in our journey to find our son a school he would do great in.

Me and my child had the most amazing year here with the staff and children here at the Richardson Center. They all greet me and my son by name and they are so caring. The school itself is amazing. There is nobody who is weird or different because everyone is weird and different and they love you for the differences ❤ just an amazing experiance. Truly and amazing school.

I had my son evaluated because he had delays in his speech by the team at Richardson center. They came to a conclusion that stated my son has autism. However, I felt they were wrong. I knew he was being on his speech but not as far as autism. They were very convincing that he had all the red markers for autism. We went ahead and set our child up for pre- k program there. We began school and my child really loved it at first. He began to come home seeming sad or away in his thoughts. He came home with hand size bruises on his legs. When I asked him what had happened he replied "The lady at school hurt me" I immediately contacted his teacher. She seemed very confused as to why he had said that or why he had bruises. She began to say maybe he had tripped because of rain boots he wore. The rain boots were far from the bruising which made no sense. I would constantly pop into school just to see how things were going, all seemed okay until about January this year. His teacher seemed very annoyed when I would show up to school to visit. On other occasions he had come home with bruises on his wrists. Again I would call and all I would get was a "I'm not sure what happened ". One of the days I showed up to school, my son whispered to me "please come to school with me every day mommy" Something felt very wrong. It's like a red flag pulled up! Later that day after lunch one of the children in class decided they wanted to play in the playground instead of going back to class. It all escalated quickly, an aide was trying to convince the child to join the class when a new "therapist " jumped in. He was pulling the child and manhandling this little 5year old boy. The poor child screamed for help and no one blinked an eye. There was classes, teachers and administrators on site. No one did anything to help this child. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. This therapist locked himself and that child in the classroom while the teacher stalled us outside. Unbelievable!! Infuriating!!That day I knew my parent instinct was right. Something was happening at school and I wasn't aware until this day. Until this day I have not received an answer from the principal stating they actually did something about this. You know because of "privacy issues" Very unsatisfied. I took my son to a specialist and he does not have autism. It's sad to say but I know people that work in the school system and I was told they see children as a dollar sign.
