If you are looking for a family friendly place to meet new friends and worship, this is the place to be. The early service is more traditional, then there is time for refreshments. The later service is more contemporary than the first, not Toby Mac style, more like Michael W. Smith. People are friendly. Childcare is available. An amazing view of Mission Bay is the cherry on top!

Best church in San Diego. Great leadership, bible oriented, great fellowship, incredible teaching/classes, variety of ministries for all and much love here. This is my home on earth before I am taken.

My wife and I have been members of CEBC for many years. It is a Christian church that teaches biblical principles, sends out and financially supports missionaries, has two services each Sunday and is very family oriented. The membership is counted in the hundreds, not thousands and welcomes newcomers with enthusiasm.

What a place ! I googled Baptist Church around me and this was the first church that popped up. Truly God led , the presence of the Holy Spirit truly resides in the church, from the worship to the preaching to the donuts and hot chocolate I felt at home . I got to talk to amazing people , very welcoming. Will definitely be my church whenever I visit San Diego

I have been attending this church since I was 2 weeks old! Growing up at Clairemont Emmanuel has been a wonderful gift. God has provided a giving and faithful congregation. Pastor Kenny is rooted in the Word and always teaches from the Bible. This is also a welcoming Church - you can get plugged into Sunday Schools or Small Groups for whatever stage of life you are in. I am blessed to call this my home Church.
