My two sons attended COV Developmental Preschool all 3 years and we couldn't have had a better experience. We are so sad to be graduating at the end of this year. Nancy is a calm and discerning Director. The teachers clearly love coming to work each day. The gentle play based schooling is exactly what we wanted for our kids' preschool experience. Outside play, arts and crafts, and themed learning are all things they did daily. This place is a hidden gem. Run, don't walk, to sign your kids up!

Hidden Gem! We were so happy to learn about this play-based preschool from two families who shared their great experience over the years. When we first toured we fell in love with the beautiful, largely shaded outdoor play space. I toured over 10 other preschools and nothing compared to this. My daughter attended blue door for the school year and red door summer camp and was always excited to go to school. We loved the level of involvement available for parents and the fun monthly theme days like pajama day. The after school enrichment classes were a great bonus: Karate, Spanish, Handwriting, Cooking etc. Teachers and director were always loving, direct and accommodating to all students. Highly recommend!

All three of our kids attended COV and our third left last year -- I couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience for them. It's an extremely nurturing environment. Play-based but structured, with a wide variety of activities offered for the kids. Beautiful secluded campus with a very large outdoor area, vegetable garden, play structure, stage, large sandbox, fruit trees and plenty of grass and shade. For a small school, they're very well resourced and offer a lot of enrichment -- spanish classes, cooking classes etc. The class sizes are small and teachers get to know the kids on a deep level. Most of the teachers have been there for years, and they're amazing. The school feels like a little family. Nancy the director is incredible -- so competent, and loves the kids so much. I truly can't recommend it enough. My only complaint is that they only offer preschool -- I wish my kids could've continued on!

COV is amazing! My son fell in love with this school from the word “go!” I love the diversity, the teachers are great, they truly care about each and every one of their students. The entire staff is AMAZING!!! It’s like family there. Sadly, this will be my son’s last school year there, and I’m dreading the day we have to tell him that he will be attending a new school 😞 do not hesitate when you are searching for the perfect preschool, COV is it.

This school is such a special place. Our son went here from 3-5 and blossomed during that time from a “pandemic baby” to a vibrant, self confident, social butterfly. The staff and director are all so aligned and in sync, you never feel like anyone is off page. Perfect size groups with a ton of attention and love for each kiddo. And the indoor and outdoor spaces are so charming and idyllic (it’s like a scene out of Sesame Street). Our daughter is currently in toddler and me class on Fridays and I can see the same progress with her. Can’t wait for her to start preschool Ihere next year. We love you COV!
