horrible place, the staff antagonize the kids there. how as adults do you do that to children already going thru something. they will set the kids up to be jumped and allow them to fight in rooms where there is no cameras. the horrible fact that as a mother you don't know if your child is safe or not but yet nothing you can do because it's out of your hands!
I was in there from the age of 13 until I turned 16 it's a very abusive place and the staff choked up the children and watched the kids get jumped I seen kids commit suicide in there it's somewhere I don't think anyone should send their children if they really love them
My uncle alton dauzat was murder in their in 8/29/87 some other boys in their had murder him and said it was suicide and the group home paid for the frunal and then they change their name of the group home . Horrible place they cover up and lie about so much.
I was there like in 2006. I lived in Tensas and Bayou buildings… I wonder if they still have the benches we custom painted… When I was there, there was a lady name Big Red
Terrible place. But the staff taught me alot and it's the place that finally made me decide to stop commiting crimes. So good job but the experience still sucked
