When I called for assistance the staff seems annoyed/ short with you when communicating. Also I was hung up on maybe by mistake but kinda rude and unprofessional when you’re in a field to help individuals.
The customer service is amazing! We were there rehearsing for a pageant and the custodian and her son were so helpful and considerate. She told us, if there is anything we need let her know. Her son carried equipment out to the car for us in the cold snow. She is rasing such a gentleman. Kudos mom! and great service!
No one should have to make a review like this to try to get attention to mistreatment, disrespect and boarderline elder abuse. I am a concerned citizen simply trying to bring to the attention of the board of directors the staff mistreating towards senior members of the community center. These staff issues of disrespectful behavior towards community center members need to be addressed. There have been several disagreements between members taking up for themselves and staff talking to the elderly like they are children. Everyone may not agree with your choices or opinions but that doesn't mean you have the right to talk to some in a rude and disrespectful manner. My understanding is there are a lot of senior members that are afraid speak up on the off chance of retaliation. Please do a deep thorough investigation into all staff and day-to-day operation of the community center. Community centers should be a safe place to enjoy the company of those from our diverse community.
I cannot say more about this place! They have turned many lives around just by being in the neighborhood (Haughville) but it helps so many kids beat the streets, helps with programs, and boxing is awesome there. They also have great facilities to House your parties, weddings or reunions.
