What Parents Say
Parents overwhelmingly praise Childtime Learning Center's caring and patient teachers, supportive management (particularly current director Alex), and nurturing environment where children thrive socially and developmentally. Multiple reviewers note significant improvements since new management took over. One parent raised serious concerns about recurring security issues with the front door not closing/locking properly despite repeated complaints over a year.
If I could give this place a 0, I would. My son hadn't even been here for a full day and the LEAD teacher, AMANDA, consistently pushed my son around, grabbed him by his arms and slammed him into the wooden chairs at the kid tables, purposely ignored him when he was crying (obviously because my baby was new and had no idea what to do with himself). Then she proceeded to tell him to be quiet when the others were sleeping because he woke up early from nap and when that didn't work, she grabbed him by the lips and his cheeks and proceeded to cover my son's mouth with her hands and said whatever she said to him, and then scolded him while putting her finger in his face. All of this was happening while another teacher just sat there and did nothing. What makes this even worse is that SHE KNEW my son had developmental delays and didn't understand. Meanwhile, HUNTER just stood around and didn't do jack either. NOBODY in this room filled with THREE teachers consoled my son who was so evidently in distress. After witnessing all of this on their wonderful livestream cameras they offer, I brought this up to Alex, the DIRECTOR at ChildTime, and all she could say was she was sorry and that hopefully moving forward there will be meetings and professional development trainings to make sure staff is better educated so this doesn't happen again. What she should have said is that her lead teacher would be dealt with immediately as this type of behavior is not appropriate, nor should it be condoned. Needless to say, I was not too thrilled with how this teacher, who claimed to have 3 autistic children of her own, treated my child and then lied to my mother when she picked him up. She flat out lied in my mom's face saying that my son had a great day. Little did she know that we saw everything and my mom made sure Ms. Amanda knew that. Apparently, Amanda quit from her position, but in my personal opinion, she should have been fired!! This place does NOT take care of these kids!! Do not put your trust in these adults taking care of your precious babies. I know I cried and held mine so much tighter and closer when I got home after this horrific incident.
This is such a wonderful place for toddlers to explore, learn, and play. The teachers are caring and patient, and they really understand how to support little ones as they grow more independent. The center offers fun activities that keep toddlers engaged while also helping them build important skills. It feels like a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive!
My kiddo has been going here since she was just shy of turning one. Every since the facility has been taken over by Alex, things have improved SO much from the last director. My kiddo has been going here for almost 3 years now and everyone has been wonderful. My kiddo has had some of the same teachers throughout her time there. The teachers have been wonderful and Alex is an amazing director.
I've been thrilled with this daycare for my two sons. I truly feel like their teachers care for both boys and pretty much everyone person greets us as we come and go. My kids genuinely love getting to go and play with their new friends and have a fun day everyday. My oldest has also really started to come out of his shell since attending and has learned so much
We've been at Child Time since our daughter was 2 months old. She's now almost 8 months old. We really appreciate the staff and management. They are attentive and willing to work with us on anything related to the care they provide our daughter. She gets excited when she sees her teachers and I am so thankful for the social experiences she wouldn't otherwise have.
