What Parents Say
This Childtime Learning Center location has highly polarized reviews. A small group of parents praise the friendly staff and positive experiences, while a larger group report serious concerns about staff aggression toward children, poor training, lack of supervision, inadequate communication, and unprofessional management under Director Jamie.
The staff at the white pond Childtime are always friendly and fun! My children love seeing Miss Adel at drop off she’s always smiling!!!
I really wanted to take the time to leave a review of this daycare and what i experienced in just the two weeks my toddler attended. As a parent your worst fear is putting trust into others with your child. When i visited this daycare all of the staff came off so welcoming and that they had the best interest for my child that would soon be attending. I spoke to the director about my concerns and what i expected out of the daycare since my child had never attended daycare before. I was promised that the teachers he would be with would take great care of him and be patient. I have never been so thankful that i have a job that allows me to watch the cameras as frequently as i want to. On my sons first day at this daycare it was the worst experience i ever could’ve imagined. The teachers are SO aggressive with the toddlers, I’m honestly urging the parents that send their child to this daycare that you watch the cameras as frequently as you can. Please. Everyone seemed as if they hated their job, I watched the way these teachers handled my son knowing that he is going on 2 years old and has never been in a daycare environment before. The daycare assured me that they do a great job of trying to get the new babies comfortable with the schedule. Not once did anyone sit with him and make sure he was okay the entire day. I told them my son is still learning how to drink out of open cups when i dropped him off for breakfast that morning, there was no communication with the other teachers that would come into his classroom which resulted in him spilling milk all over his clothes. No one helped show him what to do during nap time or helped him calm down, the same assistant teacher kept yelling at him from across the room to lay down which just made him cry even more. In the same day i seen the exact same assistant teacher pick up a child and throw him onto a cot and then threw a blanket in his face because he was not laying down. I immediately contacted HR and spoke to Jamie the director about what i had saw and that i was suck at work crying because i was so angry by the treatment toddlers were getting. Jamie was not comforting at all about the situation and said that the assistant teacher did her best. I am a very understanding person but i am also not stupid and in anyway shape or form was she trying her best by the behavior she had towards these babies. I have absolutely no tolerance for grown adults that think it is okay to mistreat children. we’re trusting daycares to take care of our children while we go make a living for our families and the last thing we should be worried about is if our children are okay or not. These are babies who can not protect themselves and It literally traumatized me as a first time mother to witness what i did in the short time my son attended this daycare. This may not be happening in every classroom but im urging you parents to please watch the cameras if you can and to call HR as soon as you would see something that makes you feel uncomfortable. The times we’re living in today these teachers should be doing nothing but protecting our children. I hope this will help any parent that has experienced something like this before or any parent who may be concerned about sending their child to the right daycare. I absolutely do not recommend this daycare to anyone at all.
Very unprofessional, went in for a schedule tour and as soon as I walked in the lady came out and seemed to be the only one working with a room full of kids and stated they could not do the visit today and would have to reschedule. Waste of time.
My children had been going to this center since we moved here 3-4 years ago. The first year was great everything that I was told would happen actually occurred. It seems like once the old director left the center started to go down hill. All original staff that worked with my children from day one started leaving one after the other. There was MANY of incidence that occurred while my children were present that the staff nor director could explain including sending my oldest home with a black eye. The newer staff were not trained properly and even admitted it to multiple families. They were overly aggressive with all children and didn’t seem to have control over their class unless they were using some type of “force” for lack of better words. I was extremely disappointed to find out that even after my children were removed from the center that gossip from within the center got back to me about my child and her “behavior.” If you want some lazy babysitter material teachers monitoring your children then this is the place! If you would’ve asked me a year or two ago I would have highly recommended this center...now I wouldn’t even recommend this place to a bug.
I would not recommend this site because the site manager Jamie is very rude, as well as the staff. There have been several incidences where my children have had scratches that could not be explained and when I approached the site manager about it they made it seem like I was being hostile for even asking a question. There was also another incident where one of the teachers grabbed a student by her shirt and when I said something about it the staff and manager said I shouldn't get involved because it wasnt my child. I would never send my children back there and wouldn't recommend no one else does as well.
