Childtime in Bethesda is amazing! My daughter has been enrolled since she was just 3 months old. Returning to work 3 months after giving birth was incredibly stressful, and the idea of leaving my baby, especially with people I didn’t yet know, was terrifying. From the very beginning, however, the staff made me feel completely at ease. They treated my daughter like family and were so understanding, supportive, and welcoming. Now that my daughter is 2 years old, I continue to be impressed by how kind, down-to-earth, and caring her teachers are. They make me feel at home every single day at drop-off and pick-up, and the evening staff is wonderful as well. I also love using the SproutAbout app, it’s reassuring to check in whenever I want, and receiving daily updates and photos is truly a game changer. 9:10, I highly recommend Childtime of Bethesda to anyone looking for a daycare center!
Our son attended Childtime from age 13 mo until 2.5 yrs. The director and staff are friendly, knowledgable, compassionate, and extremely accommodating. They get to know each child and have a “curriculum” of group and individual activities. We continue to use Childtime for occasional drop-in care and remain very pleased and confident in their care.
I loved this daycare and everyone that work there. I see every day how my little one learns and have fun. There is no money to pay the love, kindness and sweetness of the teachers there. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby ☺️
DO NOT bring a child with a disability to this center. I have had meeting invites, every week, since I asked cooperate to provide accomodations for my, Son, who as ASD. I have literally cried in my car, for the past 6 months! Because of this daycare and the care given to my Son who is a 4 year old, African American, child, who has been diagnosed with ASD! My mental health shouldn't be declining because of a daycare center. Not only will you be called randomly at work about your child exhibiting ASD symptoms and behavior! You will get a follow up call, 25- minutes after the email, to ask if you have received emails from the Director. The parents here will smile in your face if you're African American and talk about you to the Director for no reason at all. They feel if they're of a certain ethnic background, your kids don't belong here . I have seen it, and I have brought in family with me during pick- up time just to see if perhaps, what I encountered, was " really" what it was, "racism". Not a warm environment for families of color. Never thought in 2025, I would even be mentioning these types of encounters. But, I have. The parents who kids attend this center! Have been nasty, rude, childish, to the point" I make sure me and my kids ride the elevator alone". This way, we avoid the dirty looks and scrunched up faces because my Son stims in the elevator. Didn't know that a disability was frowned upon by grown adults? But here, you will encounter these types of reactions as they make eye contact with you, as they step down into their European cars, and try to drive slow as you exit the garage. All recorded on my phone! Happened to me and my kids several times. All encounters were shared with the director! He response was " we can't control that". Don't waste your time coming here. Find another location especially , if you have multiple children that are 3 under 3! I'm saving you a headache! Teacher in the Two's Room, Ms. Natalie, will be an amazing Daycare owner and operator one day. She has what it takes to learn a child's needs, adjust, and actually make a good effort at providing care. She should be in management!!! If I could rate her care! She would get 20 million likes and stars from me. Accessing the Daycare: You must be in and out of the garage in 30 minutes or less. Or you will pay $4, in and out. There is a front door entrance but, you risk the chance of getting a ticket. I know the pressure is on a lot of families to return to work! But, look elsewhere.
We love Childtime of Bethesda! We have two children here who absolutely love it. Our kids are excited to go to Childtime in the morning and cannot wait to see their friends and teachers. We have found all the teachers and staff to be caring and warm people who truly care for our children. This is a very diverse, inclusive, and welcoming environment and we have watched our children grow and excel here over the last few years. We have noticed that many other families have also been going to Childtime for years and have been sending multiple children here as well - I think this says a lot about this daycare and how great it is. We highly recommend Childtime!
