What Parents Say
Child's Way is a medical facility, not a traditional daycare, specializing in care for medically fragile infants and children. Parents consistently praise the exceptional, detail-oriented staff and positive outcomes, with families reporting significant health improvements during their stays. The facility provides comfortable accommodations for parents, meals, and compassionate care during critical medical situations.
Our daughter and I spent almost two months here from November to December in 2024 to receive antibiotics through her central line and the staff was phenomenal. We lived almost three hours away so I stayed with her the entire time and they treated me just as well as they did her. It was the scariest, hardest thing we went through and our baby was brand new so I'm extremely thankful for everyone there who made our stay as well as it could have been under the circumstances. We celebrated her first Thanksgiving there and she even got to meet Santa and Mrs. Clause while we were there.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
My infant twins were both admitted here for feeding and breathing issues. They were both on an NG Tube for a period of time. Let me just say that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at this facility is nothing short of amazing. They are SO detailed with every single thing they do for their patients. They take their time with helping their patients thrive. We absolutely love the children’s home and are forever grateful for them
If I could rate just the staff who care for the children, I'd give them 5/5 stars. Maybe even 10/5 stars. They are over worked and under paid. The turnover rate, at least at the daycare side, is extremely high and I understand why. It has to be miserable working for the admin. The admin are controlling and quick to blame everything on anyone else. When admin messed up during intake, a nurse was blamed and punished. Admin does a lot of punishing staff and parents. It reached a point where I couldn't bring up any concerns about my child's care because I was too worried about who would be blamed or punished. If you can, avoid at all costs. At least the daycare. But after dealing with the CEO, I doubt the hospital side is much different.
Wow this place was amazing! My baby was transferred there from Magee and she was not doing well there they couldn’t get her where she needed to be but as soon as she went to the children’s home she only spent 1 week there and was completely better gaining weight they did such a good job with her plus they have sleeping rooms you can get to rest when you need it and you get 3 meals a day such a nice place would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! Thank you to the nurses and the nurse practitioners for pushing my baby where she needed to be and Getting us home in 1 week. 😊
I was there with my son and and they wouldn't let him go home because he was .08 under his birth weight...that's the only reason.i was so upset and was very unhappy with this.also I know someone else that's there and nurse's were treating them unfairly. Security staff was friendly and a few of the nurses but I feel they just kept my son longer for money reasons since I had great insurance.
