Child’s Day is consistently the worst part of my day. Not only is it far more expensive than nearly every childcare center in a 50+ mile radius, but the experience has not been positive. We were referred by colleagues, as the center is well known within attorney circles. Unfortunately, our experience suggests a culture of manufactured exclusivity and performative elitism. Rather than functioning as a program designed to support families, it presents itself as something parents must prove themselves worthy of. There is a strong sense of conditional belonging—families appear to be evaluated rather than supported. The sheer number of rules, many of them unwritten, creates the impression that parents are accountable to the center, rather than the other way around. You would think they were paying us! In hindsight, the tone was clear even during the “interview” process, where we were asked why we chose our line of work. We are attorneys. Why they chose to work in childcare is far more relevant. The dynamic feels petty, judgmental, and elitist toward the very parents they are meant to serve. If this is how parents are treated, it raises concerns about how children are treated as well. Thankfully, we have come up on the waitlist for another center and are looking forward to moving on from this experience.

A wonderful daycare. The teachers are very kind and loving, and proactive in planning activities to support the children's development. The children are organized into small classes with the same children and teachers everyday, which is a big plus for us. We have been so happy with our choice to send our children to Child's Day.

We’ve LOVED our experience with Childs Day! Our toddler just started his second year and we’re looking forward to sending our soon to be born second next year as well. They put the children together by age, and not within a whole year, but within months of each other so all the milestones and developments are aligned. We had such a tough time using nannys before we started here. I was very apprehensive initially using a daycare vs keeping our child home with a nanny, but truly he’s thrived and been so happy here! He’s become very social and the school does a wonderful job keeping us updated in real time daily with pictures, updates, naps, everything. It gives great peace of mind as a parent. We plan to use Childs Day for all our future children!

I can not rave enough about how amazing my son’s experience at Child’s Day was. Miss Brianna & Miss Cindy in the Little Lambs classroom are truly amazing, one of a kind teachers. My son learned so much during our time here and was always excited to tell me what he did that day. This daycare is very focused on education and learning in a fun way that really engages the kids. There were so many fun activities for the kids like raising their own butterflies, visits from the firefighters, etc. and events for families to join. The kids learn a different letter and theme (such as community service) each week. We were very sad to leave as we moved back home but we’ll never forget how amazing this school was—it truly raised the bar and I don’t know if anywhere else will be able to compare!

We put our 7 month old in the care of child’s day. We are wrapping up one year with them and the experience has been amazing. The teachers are extremely attentive and caring. Our child has learned so much here. It has given two working parents great peace of mind to know our child is well taken care of.
