What Parents Say
CHILDREN'S WORLD INC #2 receives mixed reviews with most parents praising the caring staff, happy children, and affordable rates, but two parents reported serious concerns including poor child care practices, staff unprofessionalism, and inappropriate behavior in front of children.
I really like the teachers there, our son has been well taken care of by all the staff, and looks forward to going there just like all of his classmates. The teachers work collaboratively and are polite to each other and the children. My son has been going there for a year and we have met and really like ALL the teachers there.
If you don't want your child to be traumatized, don't take your child there. The owner is nice but the workers don't have any skills and don't know how to work with children. My child's teacher hated her job, you would never see her in the morning ina good mood and nice appearance. She would come to work like she had drunk all night. Her coworkers told me that she never takes care of my child. One day i came earlier and i witnessed my son was walking with wet pants and clothes (he was potty training) . He was in the same clothes i left him and peed 2-3 times in the same pants. But this is not worst! The workers were fighting with each other and using foul language in front of my child. You should see his face! He was scared and didn't know what to do! I told to rhe owner, all he said that he never had complaints about teachers! So if you don't really care about your child, this is the right place to leave your child!!!
My son just completed 3 years at this daycare. This is not a "fancy" daycare. It is not an "academy". It is a simple daycare and was a very good experience for my family. Here are some reasons: 1) Happy Children - When we were looking for a daycare, my aunt (who could afford to send her own children anywhere) told me to just look at how the children are doing. Are they generally happy? 2) Diversity - what more can I say? Children of different races, ethnicities, religions, national origin, languages spoken, AND, the same for the teachers. 3) Affordable - we had some financial difficulties the first year, but not enough to qualify for assitance. The owner/director worked with us. 4) Convenient location - located on major city to suburb thoroughfare. 5) Understanding that children are different and have different developmental needs and stages. They helped us work through issues as they arose and were open to ideas from 3rd parties. 6) My son learned a lot! - At 3, he knew what a rhombus was. I certainly did not teach him that. His enjoyment of learning, play and himself were nurtured. 7)They offer remote learning for CPS if you need it.
I remember going here before and the preschool teacher I had was really rude and acted all nice when my parents were around, she would yell at me over the smallest mistakes. So any parent reading this, please do not send your kids here and also look at the reviews of each daycare so that way your child can have a good experience.
My child is been there for almost 3 years she started when she was 6 weeks old. The teachers are very nice. She loves going there. When is time to leave her there she always seems happy to get in!
