I cannot say enough about White Wing School! Our 4 year old started attended this past fall, and both her and we as parents love the school, teachers and director. This was a new experience for us as I am a stay at home mom, but the teachers worked so hard to help ease the transition for us, and to help my daughter fit in to an already very established classroom. I am so happy we chose White Wing and look forward to many more years as part of the community within the school.
When searching for a pre school in the area I went EVERYWHERE! I wanted a school that would provide a loving environment, an age appropriate education and a place where my children felt safe to be themselves and grow. I found exactly that and so much more at this school. I have had three of my children attend and cannot wait for my youngest to be able to go. I honestly cannot say enough about how much my family appreciates this school. Starting from the top down, the culture is positive, loving and warm. Each child feels free to spread their wings and learn what school is all about. It is fun and engaging without pressure. The work that comes home is priceless. I searched high and low for the perfect place. I could not have dreamt a better school. I promise you will not go wrong in choosing Children's Winter Garden with White Wing!
As a parent sending a child to school for the first time, I was beyond thrilled with Children's Winter Garden with White Wing School. The staff of CWG-WWS offered a variety of enrichment programs and I was blown away by the growth of my child after one year. The staff very quickly felt like family to us and I highly recommend this school to anyone in search of a well organized, well rounded, warm and loving school!
We believe the best way to prepare children for elementary school is to provide a “hands-on” approach of discovery and experimentation. This type of activity promotes a keen interest in learning and lays the foundation for more abstract learning in later years. Activities are carefully selected to promote social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual growth. In this way, White Wing addresses the needs of the whole child. Because activities are open-ended and success oriented, they facilitate growth for every ability level and more importantly, foster a positive self image.
This review is for "White Wing School," which does not exist any longer. It does NOT reflect the Winter Garden Take Over (if you disagree with the "take over" phrase, see how the name changed). At the former White Wing, the teachers made the school. There was an unbelievable amount of care and dedication shown by the teachers; my child went here from 2014-2016 and was very sad to be moving on. Winter Garden "did everything they could" to keep the 3 full-time teachers & secretary, which is political speak for, "we gave them something (aka, insulting) but they declined to accept out offer (aka, refused to accept something insulting)".
