We’ve been with Children's Preschool & Learning for over 7 years, and it’s been a positive experience for both my kids. The staff is kind, reliable, and takes the time to get to know each child and family. My kids have always felt safe and supported, and I've seen them grow in so many ways. The school has a wonderful diversity of families and teachers with different backgrounds, which has been a great experience for my kids. When it was time for my oldest to transition into kindergarten, the preschool was a huge help in making sure everything went smoothly. The location is also very convenient with plenty of parking, which makes pick-ups and drop-offs hassle-free. Highly recommend if you're looking for a preschool you can trust.
They are great here! My children love going every day. My daughter was 6 months when she started and is now 3. My son has some son is deaf and has some delays and they have been able to incorporate him in and socialize him with the kids his age, he does well with them and I will be sad when he moves on to elementary school soon. Overall a great place to take your kids, totally recommend!!!!
We have been attending Children’s Preschool for the past six months, and I cannot express how pleased we are with our experience. Both my 1-year-old and 4-year-old have adjusted quickly and seem to genuinely enjoy their time there. From day one, the staff has been incredibly welcoming and nurturing. Both of my children look forward to going to “school”. My 4-year-old has made significant strides in his learning, particularly in recognizing letters, understanding letter sounds, and even writing his name.
I would not recommend this facility to parents with infants. They do not know how to meet the needs of an infant. They struggled to give my son a bottle and they struggled to put him down for naps. The staff and the director did not know how to work with my son to find a way to help him and instead treated him as though he was an inconvenience. They called me often to complain about my son being unable to nap or take a bottle. I provided them with information about my son in order to help the staff meet his needs but they told me they did not have time to do these things for him. I have worked in daycare facilities and I have never once felt that I did not have time to perform basic tasks to soothe an infant such as holding them, walking them around the room, or rocking them at times. And yet the staff made me feel that asking for them to take a moment to soothe my baby in order for him to take a bottle was me asking for too much. Not all infants can soothe themselves to sleep or hold their own bottles. These are milestones that take time and practice to achieve. Infants require a lot of attention. That is part of this stage in their development. This is the reason that the ratio is only 4 children to 1 teacher. A licensed daycare should be able to understand the level of care that an infant requires.
If you need your daycare/preschool to be part of your community, this is where you want to be. They’re more than a village. They’re family. Very professional but also flexible, non-judgmental. And did I mention clean? My kid opened up to all the teachers very quickly, which helped speed up her learning process. Even her older sister noticed a big difference in her attitude and vocalization.
