Children'S Learning Place

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Children’s Learning Place as new family. After our previous daycare unexpectedly shut down, we were in a really tough spot trying to find care on short notice. From the very first email and call, the entire team here has been incredibly helpful, supportive, and understanding. A special thank you to Raquel, the Head of the School, who worked tirelessly to help us get enrolled and settled in so quickly. She made what could have been a stressful transition feel seamless and reassuring. The classroom teachers and staff have been fantastic so far and our children felt comfortable right away. The parent community has also been so welcoming and warm. We’re incredibly grateful to have found such a caring and well-run school, especially during a time when we needed it most.

Our daughter started attending Children’s Learning Place at 4 months old in one of the infant classrooms. The teachers, administration and parents were instantly welcoming! The curriculum is also great with music, Spanish, art/sensory activities, etc. And there are other great activities too, such as parents night out, picture days, holiday events, spirit weeks, and more! Our daughter learned so much from this team and while we moved to the suburbs and had to find a new daycare, we will forever be grateful and appreciative of the CLP team. We recommend CLP to any family looking for an engaged group of teachers with plenty to keep your little ones learning and having fun.

I have been taking my child to this daycare for over a year now and I couldn't be happier with the care and education they have received. The staff is amazing, always friendly and attentive to the needs of each child. The facilities are clean, safe and well-equipped for fun and learning. I love the daily updates and the creativity that is put into their activities. My child has grown so much both socially and academically since starting here and I am grateful for the support and love they receive from the staff every day. (Thank you Emu classroom!) I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing and educational environment for their child.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality place to care for your children in West Town. The staff, teachers and Director Michelle have all been amazing. I love that they use the Brightwheel app where you can get daily updates as well as see pictures of your child during the day. My son loves it here, especially their enrichment activities like Yoga. Also I have noticed that my son has learned a lot since he has been enrolled here and he often comes home singing songs and uses words I've never heard which is great!

CLP is the absolute best! Our son attended the Bucktown location from 4 months old to 2 years old and then we transferred to the West Town location. Both locations were very phenomenal. They took such good care of our little guy and taught him so much. My husband and I always joked that we acted like grandparents because we knew our son was getting a good education and eating well rounded organic meals during the week. We hated to leave but we were relocated to Texas. His new school is great but does not compare to CLP. We had another son and put him in a different school in Texas and that one doesn’t compare either! It really made me appreciate CLP that much more and prompted me to write this review. We miss CLP very much and are so grateful for the time we had
