What Parents Say
Children's Land at Lincolnshire receives perfect 5-star ratings from all parents. They consistently praise Director Irina's hands-on leadership, the dedicated and caring staff, clean facility, nutritious meals, and strong educational curriculum that prepares children well for school transitions.
We feel incredibly grateful to have had both of our sons attend Children’s Land at Lincolnshire, from toddler age through Kindergarten. Director Irina and her dedicated staff care deeply for every child — they nurture them with love, teach them thoughtfully, and support their healthy development in every way. The breakfast service until 9AM has been a lifesaver for our busy mornings. We are happy with the quality of food and snack provided throughout a day — never a trace of junk food on the menu. Seasonal performances, the spring and winter shows, are beautifully put together with hard work from both teachers and students, and they’ve become cherished highlights in our family’s memories. The daycare offers a wide variety of age-appropriate activities that keep the children engaged, learning, and having fun. Thanks to the Kindergarten program at Children’s Land, both of our boys were well-prepared and confident when they transitioned into first grade. What’s more, the center remained open during the height of the COVID pandemic, going above and beyond to keep everyone safe. We’re deeply thankful for their commitment during such a challenging time. We absolutely love Children’s Land at Lincolnshire and the incredible team behind it, and we would enthusiastically recommend it to any family.
We’ve been with Children’s Land in Lincolnshire for nearly five years and have had both of our children here. When we first toured daycares, this one immediately stood out. Even during a busy pick-up time, Director Irina greeted every parent and child by name. It was clear right away how involved, welcoming, and genuinely caring she is—and that impression has only deepened over the years. Director Irina and every teacher and staff member truly go above and beyond. The level of care and quality here is exceptional: experienced and dedicated teachers, a spotless facility with great attention to cleanliness, a strong learning curriculum, creative enrichment programs, wonderful winter and spring performances, and nutritious (and delicious!) meals. Children’s Land Lincolnshire has been such a joyful, nurturing environment for our kids, and we feel very lucky to be part of this community.
I am writing this review so other families can be aware of what happened to us. My family began planning our move several months ago, and in August, we contacted Children’s Land to secure a January start date for our daughter. We toured the center, submitted all required paperwork, and followed every step exactly as instructed. The previous director personally reassured us that our daughter would definitely have a spot in January, even after she transitioned to another location. Because of this reassurance, we planned our relocation, work schedules, and childcare arrangements around this enrollment. However, in mid-December, just weeks before the planned start date, after we brough our kid to touch base this place, we received an unexpected email from the new director stating that there was no availability for the Two-Year-Old program — with no explanation, no acknowledgment of prior communication, and no alternative options offered. When I asked for clarification, her response was simply that she was “not aware of previous conversations,” and that “typically enrollment begins with a tour.” What was even more shocking is that she considered our brief visit last Friday — which was meant to be a transition visit for our daughter — as a “tour” that supposedly starts the enrollment process. If this is the case, it implies that after a director change, families must restart the entire enrollment process from the beginning, regardless of months of prior communication, paperwork, or commitments. This is not only ridiculous, but extremely unprofessional and unfair to families who plan responsibly and rely on the center’s guidance. The new director’s position seems to be that all prior communication “does not count” unless it went through her, essentially erasing months of work, promises, and planning. The tone was dismissive and lacked basic empathy for the situation that her own center created. I understand that childcare availability can be limited, but what was most disappointing was the lack of transparency, poor internal communication, and the absence of courtesy in how this was handled. No family should be told “you have no spot” at the last minute after being reassured for months. I sincerely hope Children’s Land will improve their internal processes, director handoffs, and communication with families so that others do not experience the same disruption and frustration. We started from August, and now ended up with no spot. Thank you for letting me your dark side as this is trult not professional.
We’ve been part of children’s land for over eight years, and 3 of our four children have had the privilege of starting their early years here — right down to our newest four-month-old. The care, consistency, and love the staff show each child is truly remarkable. Knowing our baby is in the same trusted hands as her older siblings brings us so much peace of mind. Children’s land has been like a second family to us, and we’re deeply grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on our children’s early years. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe, clean, caring, and enriching environment for their little ones.
I truly love Children’s Land and couldn’t be more grateful for the care my son receives here. The director runs the center with such care and intention, and everything is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained. The teachers are absolutely wonderful, and I love the fun activities they have for the children. I also love that the children are offered a variety of healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Children's Land is a great place if you're looking for care for your little ones.
