What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Children's Hut for caring, attentive staff who provide educational instruction above typical age levels. Families highlight excellent communication, cleanliness, safety protocols, and the strong emotional bonds teachers develop with children. Multiple parents report significant developmental progress in speech, language, and school readiness.
After nearly three years with Children’s Hut, I feel compelled to share my honest experience in hopes of helping other parents make informed decisions. My son began attending this daycare at just two months old and remained there until almost three years old. For a long time, I trusted this center with his care, but as he got older and began needing more support with his development — particularly with speech and behavior — the environment became increasingly dismissive, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. I was proactive and transparent from the beginning. I clearly communicated that my child had upcoming evaluations, and I was actively working with his pediatrician to monitor his development. Instead of meeting this with collaboration, I was met with passive-aggressive staff behavior, vague responses, and eventually, a quiet push to remove my child rather than support him. What’s worse is how they handled communication regarding the “child development specialist” they claimed had observed my child. I had actually spoken to this same specialist 6–8 months before my son was dismissed, and she told me he was showing typical behaviors for his age, and that many of the children were exhibiting the same developmental signs. She specifically said the issue was not with the children, but with the staff’s lack of training and preparedness to handle age-appropriate behavior. Despite this, the center repeatedly claimed the specialist was unavailable, on vacation, or couldn’t be reached. When I asked for her contact information or any documentation of her observation, I was told they needed her “permission” to share her details — which I was never granted. I was never given a report, never asked to sign anything, and never shown any documentation of her evaluation, despite multiple requests. For a child who was supposedly observed and flagged for concern, there was absolutely no paper trail. That alone should concern any parent. And let’s be honest — it’s also suspicious that this daycare only has reviews dated between two to four years ago. For a center that’s been operating much longer, where are the current reviews? With a 4.3 rating and nothing recent, it strongly suggests negative feedback is being filtered out or discouraged. If your child is still developing speech, needs a little extra attention, or doesn’t fit the “perfect” mold — this is not the place. Children deserve trained, patient caregivers who nurture their growth, not ones who give up on them when things get challenging or uncomfortable. Parents, be cautious before enrolling your child here. What’s presented on the surface does not reflect the lack of communication, support, or transparency happening behind the scenes. Update 7/31/25 That new review posted is from a teacher not a parent just FYI!! Other parents: please trust your gut, not just reviews. Ask direct questions and request transparency.
The staff here are incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely caring with the little ones. They teach the toddlers at a level that’s comparable to kindergarten, which is so impressive. The babies always look happy and well-cared for—diaper changes are done thoroughly, with no residue left behind. It’s clear they truly care about each child.
My child attended Children’s Hut for almost 3 years. I’d been meaning to leave a review for a while. Children’s Hut was the first place I as a new mom entrusted with my child and they exceeded my expectations. He attended before and during the pandemic and they went above and beyond to ensure the center was sanitized, and the children were safe. The staff and management here are awesome! They are great with communication which was major for me!. The teachers also really love the kids. My child learned so much, and was loved (which is very important to me). He still talks about his PreK 3 teachers now, and he’s been gone for a year now. We were sorry to go but were no longer able to commute from our new home, but I do recommend this place.
A great school. My son improved in communication skill and words that he is speaking many words due to the school's teacher close follow up and hard work for my kid with in 4 months.
Children’s hut is great school and well diverse! I had my daughter at this school for pre-k and the teachers prepared elementary school and beyond!
