Childrens Garden Child Care

After 4 years I can say the teachers are wonderful, but drastically underpaid especially with how expensive tuition is, and the change over in office staff has been for the worse. They lie to avoid conflict and protect lying staff even when other staff come forward with witness statements. In other cases I witnessed, they also kicked out kids because it was easier than working with parents on behavioral resolution even when it is age appropriate issues. The previous management cared about the families but that is no longer true.

Both of my daughters have attended Children's Garden starting at age 3 and going up to age 6. I have only had positive experiences with the staff, teachers and curriculum at Children's Garden. Earlier this year I asked my daughter who her favorite teacher was. She looked at me so hurt and stated, "How could you ask me that? I love all of them." That pretty much sums up our experience. Children's Garden has created a safe, loving space to teach our young children. My youngest stayed enrolled throughout the summer and her reading has just truly taken flight and she is more prepared than ever to start first grade. Thank you all for loving our children.

I will forever be thankful to all the teachers and staff at Children’s Garden. The specialized attention that each and every child receives is what makes this school the best. Both of my kids went to this school and the outcome is amazing. My second grader is ahead in reading because of all the individualized attention. When my toddler started I felt safe and knew that he was in good hands. I can see why they have waitlists because it took us a while to get in.

My kids have been attending CG for about a year now. Both my kids love going so much. We used to literally drag my son into his other school, but there has never been a day where he isn’t excited about attending children’s garden. The teachers are very attentive and kind. The front staff is amazing and always extremely helpful. I’m so glad we’ve found a place that my children love going to and where there are people who genuinely care about my kids and their well-being. My only advise is to get on the waiting list as soon as possible because spots are hard to come by, but the wait is so worth it.

Let me start by saying that Children’s Garden feels like family! As educators, our expectations were high, and we searched all over the area to find a quality center to help our daughter thrive. Visit after visit to other centers, we left discouraged that we would never find a place that could meet our expectations. Then, we found Children’s Garden, and there was no point looking anywhere else, they exceeded our expectations from the moment our observation began. We immediately got on the waiting list, and it was worth the nearly 10 month wait!! She has been attending a multi-age classroom, and let me say that hands-down, nowhere else comes close to the level of care, dedication to whole-child education, and quality of people as Children’s Garden. Our daughter loves her teachers, has grown so much socially and emotionally, and is more confident and independent than we could have imagined after just one year! This is not a “daycare” that you just drop your kids off at so they can play with blocks all day. This is a learning environment that is carefully planned, and delivered with a very intentional focus for each individual child. Children are given the opportunity to choose, but there is also guidance from knowledgeable staff, and the care and compassion the staff has for all children is what truly makes them unique, and permeates throughout the building. My daughter can walk down the hallway to class in the morning, and have numerous staff greet her by name and give her a hug any given day, and these aren’t even her classroom teachers. She had a period of tough drop-offs, and the director and front office assistant worked with the classroom teachers to help us get through this, even re-arranging staff schedules to accommodate what would work best for her needs in the morning. That is the level of excellence, and willingness to go beyond, that we know we can expect from them. A child’s foundation in life is set during their formative years (0-5), and without a doubt, we know that our daughter is blessed to be fortunate enough to have the teachers and staff at Children’s Garden establish a rock-solid foundation that will set the tone for the rest of her life!!
