My experience with the Children's Creative & Performing Arts Academy has been nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this is a special place where creativity, diversity, and personal growth are at the heart of everything they do. The teachers are not just educators; they are mentors who are kind, supportive, and deeply passionate about their work. They foster an environment that inspires students to express themselves freely while honing their talents. It's heartwarming to see educators who are invested not only in their student's artistic growth but also in their personal development and well-being. One of the most remarkable features of this academy is its wonderfully diverse and multicultural community. The students and teachers come from all different backgrounds, bringing a rich variety of perspectives and cultures that truly enhance the learning experience. Inclusion is a key value here- every student feels seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their background or abilities. The curriculum is well-rounded, blending performing arts with essential skills like collaboration, critical thinking, and self-confidence. Whether it's acting, dance, music, or visual arts, the academy provides opportunities for kids to explore and develop their talents in multiple areas. This comprehensive approach really helps students become well-rounded individuals. I'm so grateful for this academy's positive influence on my child. It's a place where creativity thrives, and every student is encouraged to shine. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, inclusive, and diverse environment where kids can grow artistically and personally!
CCPAA is a school that goes above and beyond for students and families. As a military family, we are constantly on the move and experience all sorts of schools along the way. we have bee stationed here in SD for two and a half years and the first year was ROUGH going through 2-3 different schools until we found this gem!
For families seeking the best school to foster both their child's academic and creative potential, CCPAA is the best choice.
At the age of 5 was a rough start I didn't know anyone or even the teachers name. When I introduced myself the classmates were welcoming and even the staff. I began to feel like a family when I started going to the school more often but then I realized we are family! The teachers were full of experience and positivity. Learning was very important to the children because the school wanted the kids to be well educated and experienced. There is no bullying in this case whatsoever ,if a child gets in a fight with another student the teacher will try to resolve the problem. In higher grades there will be geometry, algebra, mathematics and etc. The principal try's to make everything perfect but keeps her expectations realistic in this school by giving the kids full experience and acknowledgement. This school is a great school for any parent that would want there kid given the right education with grace and affection. π
My child has been going there since she was 2.5 years old, we had a rough start, but after getting to know the staff and becoming family with them it's amazing. My daughter has heath issues and they have been nothing but understanding and wanting to know more. My daughter is a hard child to teach and she is thriving because of Janet and her teachers. We have been to public schools, head start and everything and she is home here. It's the best environment for her to be at and I'm glad she will grow up with life long friends. It's always hard to start at a new place and you can not expect everything to be perfect at first, but even threw the frustrations, all the teachers and teacher aids love her to death and want the best. And I'm pretty sure that's what every parent wants.
