A long overdue review! When our son started in the baby classroom at Downtown Kindercare in August, 2018, we were nervous about the less than stellar online reviews. Fortunately, we've had nothing but positive experiences, especially when director Nancy took over a short time after we started. We sent our daughter there in Fall 2020, and for over six years, Kindercare was like our family away from home. We made lasting friendships and are incredibly grateful to the teachers and staff for the safe and fun learning environment that they provided to our two kids. We will always hold Kindercare fondly in our memories. It was an emotional day when the kids graduated!

To the amazing teachers of the Octopus class—including Main Teacher Melissa, Ms. Concetta, the other Teacher Melissa, and Teacher Mina (new teacher, so wonderful!)—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I want to give a huge shoutout to the main Teacher Melissa, who has been absolutely wonderful to our baby. She has made all the difference in our journey here. When our baby started at just seven months old, we couldn't have imagined she would be so happy to come to the center every day, now that she is almost 15 months and ready to move up! The photos you all post on the app are so cherished, and the communication has always been kind, professional, and thoughtful. Your care is both personalized and well-structured, and it's clear you're not just teachers—you are raising our baby alongside us. You always listen and respond with such care, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. I couldn't recommend this Palo Alto downtown KinderCare more! A special thank you also goes to Ms. Mery, Cass, and Director Nancy, who are all awesome and amazing. We can't wait for our baby to begin her new class and will share more updates then!

I cannot imagine a better day care. Our daughter is now enrolled for 2 years and she is so happy at KinderCare. Passing through 3 classrooms we have experienced several care takers. All were super qualified and very devoted to the children. And it really shows in the happiness of the children. Our daughter loves going to Kindercare and we love taking her to KinderCare. The daycare is extremely well managed and there is such a nice and positive atmosphere.

We had 2 kids go to Downtown Kindercare, we spent 6 years here. The staff is great, the program values fun and education, there's various additional classes kids can take (eg, cooking). I would definitely recommend this place.

I joined the wait list before my daughter was born. Cassandra worked with us. We learned a half a year later that there was one step in the process that wasn't completed. We asked if Cassandra could put us back on the waitlist from the date we first went through the process. Cassandra had no sympathy. Since then, we've been waiting to come off the waitlist. We know others who were taken off the waitlist even from application after we were properly in the system. We've called KinderCare several times, but been blown off. There has been no follow up from them. Overall, this was a bad experience.
