Children’s cottage preschool is an excellent facility with dedicated teachers and a wonderful curriculum designed for the toddler age group. They do fun projects on holidays, and have lots of exploratory playtime, and sensory activities. The facility is always clean and neat upon arrival and teachers always great parents and kids with a smile. The owner and boss is amazing and hosts events for her employees and buys lunch sometimes too! She’s a mother as well and always treats the children as is they were her own. I loved working at children’s cottage, it was a wonderful experience
The teachers at Children's Cottage go above and beyond to create a safe and comforting environment for the children. I appreciate the personalized attention my child received here, especially as a concerned first time mom navigating unknown allergies. The teachers kept a close eye to make sure my baby didn't ingest anything we weren't sure she could have, checked with me first before giving her any shared snacks, and paid close attention to changes in her breathing or behavior and kept me updated - they also became her best friends. I was comforted knowing she was in good hands. Although the price is on the higher side compared to other daycares, the care and attention provided by the teachers makes it worth it. I'd love to see Children's Cottage benefit from some grants to update and improve their facilities!
Both of my daughters attended the children's cottage infant center and loved it! As a mom your always nervous leaving your kids somewhere for the first time but the staff there is amazing and sends pictures and texts all day so you can feel assured your little ones are happy! I highly recommend this place to all families!
Since 2014 is when I first started using the infant and toddler center three of my kids have gone and they have done an amazing job I wouldn’t have my baby’s anywhere else! I feel in love when they baby ware my tiny lil ones and got notes of progress and pictures through out the day. I felt so reassured. I highly recommend this daycare to everyone I know.
I visited the infant center in 2013 and spoke with Rose, who was very nice and was educated in early childhood development. The facility -- one large room -- was clean looking, but it also seemed very chaotic because of the high enrollment. The other staff did not seem to be educated in early childhood development, and if they were, they seemed to know the bare minimum. Also, I didn't see an outside play area. For our child, we chose a smaller home-based daycare with a large outside play area.
