My children have been coming here since they where infants and now in elementary school. The staff and directors are professional and very friendly. Karen and Jenny and the staff are always welling to go the extra mile for the students and parents. They are always willing to help with any questions that I may have. Whenever I come to pick up my children the teachers are engaged with the children and the children seem very happy. I would highly recommend children of America saint Charles
As a parent who works in quality assurance, I spend a lot of time in facilities evaluating quality and compliance, so it’s easy for me to see when a program is doing things the right way and COA absolutely is. The infant room feels like family, Miss Linda and Miss Melanie are so great about keeping my infant on her routine and letting me know how her day went. Choosing COA has truly felt like the right move for our family, thank you ladies!
I would not recommend COA based on my experience with the staff, particularly Karen the director Mitchell one of the so called teacher. The level of care and education provided was extremely disappointing and concerning. The classroom environment lacked structure, supervision, and basic educational engagement. Children were allowed to behave inappropriately without correction, and staff appeared overwhelmed and disengaged. At no point did I see effective teaching, guidance, or age-appropriate learning taking place. Most troubling was the lack of accountability. Concerns were clearly visible and known, yet no meaningful action was taken to improve the situation or ensure a safe, nurturing environment for the children. Parents trust daycare staff with their children’s safety, development, and well-being. Unfortunately, this facility failed to meet even the most basic expectations in those areas. I ultimately removed my child due to the poor educational conditions and lack of proper care.
My wife and I were looking into enrolling our 3 yr old daughter here. We just learned from parents whose kids go to this daycare that the place is currently being investigated by the State (DCFS) for abuse and neglect allegations. No thanks! We'll take our business elsewhere.
