We are excited to have found COA and have a safe place to take our daughter for daycare. The teachers are attentive, compassionate, and actively try to learn our child. Our daughter goes to a school program mid-day and they make sure she gets safely on and off of the bus. Being so young, that was a fear of mine, but she is well-taken care of and excited to get back to her friends at daycare each day. The leadership is also great! We feel that they care and are willing to partner with us as parents to help our child. I am grateful for COA Columbus!

We have had overwhelming positive experiences with COA in the several years that we have been with them. We have watched our child learn and grow, stating with the various preschool levels and continuing through the older classes. Our child loves going to her “little” school and looks forward to summer camp each year. We love that the students represent a diverse population and learn from each other.

The new director, Ms. Leigh, is a God send! She works hard and is great with the kids. She’s very accommodating, working with parents to ensure we provide the best care for their kids. You can tell she is dedicated and hardworking. Don’t let this one go!

I was there for like 4 years it was fun I had lots of friends ngl 2018-2022 there was a lot of inappropriate things with just the kids it was mostly the boys tbh. Also we would listen to rap music on the bus.But it all went downhill when Mr. Josiah got fired and then the next day Miss Erica left those were the Best teachers in my opinion the day they left it was just boring everybody I knew left within a year just like me and one of my other favorite teachers Miss Stephanie even left too. Kind of sad. Kind of miss it but that is my total review 😊

My son was enrolled here for a little over a year (age 3-4) and overall it was a nice establishment. They always did a ton of fun activities and during the summertime, they had even extra things for them to do. I’d say the establishment also stayed pretty clean and organized. They send you photos of your child throughout the day along with a report at the end of the day listing what they did, when they did it, down to naps and even what food they were served. They also have cameras and you can pay extra to have access to the live video surveillance which I liked. From what I observed the younger children (babies-2yo) were well taken care of too. The babies were always smiling and happy when I’d see them around or outside with the staff. My son’s pre-k1 teacher was Ms. Eileen who I cannot speak highly enough of. She is a super hero of a teacher, having up to 14 toddlers to herself and she cared for all of them with compassion and respect. However after my son turned 4, he was scheduled to move to the next class (pre-k2) with Ms. Liza which I simply was not willing to put my son through. For the last year, I could hear her yelling at her students from down the building and that was pretty much a constant. I made it very clear when I brought my son back (after I returned to work during the pandemic) that regardless of the fact that my son has recently turned 4, I was not going to have him return unless he stayed in Ms. Eileen’s classroom. Fast forward to just before I pulled him from COA, the director/staff started “transitioning” my son into Ms. Liza’s classroom (pk-2) without my knowledge or consent. I found out from my son after he was having meltdowns first thing in the morning when he was told he had school that day. When I brought it to Ms. Stephanie’s (director) attention, she tried to play it off as a miscommunication and that she didn’t know I was not comfortable with my son switching classrooms, which was simply not true. Oh and not to mention, I witnessed the director before Stephanie raise her hand to a child in the hallway years ago and called him stupid. She didn’t realize anyone was around. I called her out and called corporate immediately which is how Stephanie ended up in that role because they did end up letting the other woman go. Bottom line, the center is decent. I chose it because they accepted title 20. It’s not great nor is the curriculum, however I believe your children will be cared for UNLESS they are going to be in Ms. Liza’s classroom (age 4) She is harsh, strict and yells constantly at the children. Which I just couldn’t make my son endure so I pulled him from the center and have since enrolled him elsewhere. Hope this review helps for those searching for a new center.
