CLC is the best learning center and kids care place . Philosophy is about human’s rights , kids grow and emotions’ the highest skill.♥️ Welcome please, your little angel is on safe hands.
We've been very happy with the level of personalized attention, care, and support that the teachers at CLC have given our son over the 2 years he's been there. It's a very warm and friendly community, and the experiences, activities, and curriculum they provide for the students is incredible! Every day there are wonderfully curated sensory tables available for students to explore (often with seasonal elements e.g. squash seeds and cranberries, fresh flowers frozen in ice, moss and dirt, etc), and the curriculum varies year to year based on the students' interests! Also, as an update to a prior review, the hours offered this year are 8:30-1 or 8:30-3:30 and you can choose 3, 4, or 5 days/week. For 2026-27, I believe there's a strong possibility of a 5pm pickup option also.
We've been with CLC for almost a year and are very happy with this day care. The daycare is very much involved in the children's care -- this isn't just a place to drop off and pick up kids. They encourage and sometimes also expect the parents to be involved -- from kids dance parties at school to preparing food and snacks and the usual parent/teacher conferences and parenting workshops. The teachers are all very well experienced, nice and it was great to see my little one warm up to them very fast. The teachers-to-toddlers ratio is also very good, and the daycare itself is very spacious with multiple rooms with windows, and a private (and for New York relatively large) courtyard. Overall, while tuition tends to be a bit more expensive than other comparable daycares, we have found it to be worth it.
Only really offers part-time care, 8-2pm and take every holiday you can imagine so not really that useful for full-time work. Also they're extremely difficult to get hold of we went through about 5 emails and 2 in person visits to get an answer on whether our application has been successful eventually finding out that they had prioritized a late application over ours. In fairness the person had another child in the daycare already but it was a bit frustrating not getting straight answers it felt like they really went above and beyond to prioritize the other family over ours.
