Please read the reviews carefully and beleive them. Leave your children here at your own risk, My daughter had been going here since sept of 25 recently withdrew her jan 21 of 26. Each month that she attended she stayed sick with fever coughs and colds. Each month you walk into this building and the smell is horrendous, not sure what was worse in the morning or afternoon. Multiple times my daughter would get injured by other kids. Busted lips, knots on her head, missing hair, carpet burns on her forehead. Each time at pick up she would be in a class with kids a lot older than her (afterschool kids) with a "teacher" who would always be screaming at them and on her phone with air pods in. This facility lacks so much from the curriculum to the sanitary practices incluidng the staff. Who the directors lack so much empathy and understanding for the kids and their families. There is very little communication and no updates like they promise you. The first month you get pictures and updates then nothing. Lots of mistakes were made with tuition payments on their end that i had to pay extra for. Every time you walk in there is a child with a face full of snot as if you pay all this money and they cant at the least clean thier noses. Multiple times i heard 3 teachers scream at the kids telling them to shut up. I paid $200 a week for a stranger to scream at my child, no thank you.
This daycare needs to do more training with the staff & management. They lack empathy, and emotional support. Parents aren’t being heard enough and it’s a lot that was being swept under the rug. Kids needs that support and needs to feel love instead of have workers here just for the paycheck.
I appreciate the efforts of the staff at Childcare Network, but I believe there are critical areas for improvement. Management needs to establish stronger communication and transparency with parents to ensure concerns are heard and addressed promptly. It is also essential that teachers actively monitor and intervene in cases of bullying to maintain a safe environment for all children. Proper policies and procedures should be consistently followed, and staff should be trained in appropriate de-escalation techniques to handle challenging behaviors calmly and effectively. I strongly recommend installing live and recorded video surveillance in classrooms and common areas to improve accountability and support incident reviews. I share this as a humble and concerned parent, deeply troubled by how my child was treated while in Childcare Network’s care. Those who work with children should do so out of genuine compassion, yet it often feels like the focus has shifted more toward money than the well-being of the kids. I urge you to reflect on the true responsibility of this role and ensure that every child is treated with the care, patience, and respect they deserve.
I Am a Veteran Parent at This Location of Childcare Network 206. I literally only trust this location of Childcare Network with my babies. My first child attended this location from 2021- 2022. They took such good care of My baby. I never had any issues with the staff or my son’s well being. Ms Shamyra is awesome. When I saw she still work at Childcare Network this year when it was time for my new 1 yr old to attend. I felt at ease. I knew my new son would be in good hands. Again my son has been attending since May 2024. I have not any problems with the Location, the staff or my son’s classroom. They take good care of him. I am always in the know of what’s going on or if he needs anything such as wipes, diapers or change of clothes. I truly am blessed to have good care I can trust. Thank you to the Childcare Network 206 Center, Staff and Team. You guys are Awesome.
I must say this has been the best experience for my niece. She literally loves this day care and looks forward to coming here everyday. And the Director Shamyra Thompson has been so welcoming and accommodating since I moved out here. She has made this a second home for my niece and we love her for that. She works hard to have this center run at its best capabilities and her efforts are amazing. Thank you Mrs.Thompson you are the Best !!!!
