What Parents Say
CHILD CARE @ SARAS HOUSE is actually a family shelter run by Catholic Charities, not a daycare center. Reviews praise it as a supportive long-term shelter program that helps homeless families rebuild their lives through structured support and resources. Former residents credit the organization with providing essential assistance that enabled them to secure housing and employment.
Francis, whomever this intake coordinator is whom is supposed to be here to advise, show empathy, and collect information has been rude EVERY SINGLE TIME I needed to call. She can’t ask her questions correctly, cutting you off before you finish then asking you if “you’re the one with the attitude”, huffing and puffing and just all around nasty. She needs to be fired because she clearly HATES her job and the people she has to help. She hung up on me multiple times and had even blocked me once earlier on in my homelessness. I’ve been put on this same waitlist twice in the last few months and still have yet to receive any assistance. I will leave a review for her on each site if she is who conducts waitlists for each of these houses. Do better smh
It was an absolute honor to serve Sarah’s House as our 2025 charity of choice for Keller Williams Flagship’s Red Day project! This incredible shelter has been dedicated to supporting women and children for decades, and being able to give back to such a powerful mission was deeply meaningful. At Keller Williams, we don’t just help clients navigate real estate—we build relationships that allow us to give back. Thanks to the support of our amazing clients, we were able to donate a substantial amount to nonprofits like Sarah’s House, extending our impact far beyond the transaction. Sarah’s House holds a special place in my heart. My family and I experienced homelessness during my childhood, and I often think about how much a place like Sarah’s House would have meant to us as we worked to rebuild our lives. Thank you, Sarah’s House, for the vital work you do and for allowing me to be a part of supporting families who need it most. 💛
I stayed here back in 2013-2014 when I was 21 with my 5month old baby. This is a wonderful program and those who follow the rules and put in the work, see the results needed to get where they need to be in life. Everyone tells me how great of a mom I am and how well I am doing in life and I have to give credit to God and this place. I’ll never forget it ❤️
So my experience on the first day was awesome. Everyone has been nice so far. The one worker that I have so far seems to be very sweet, and informative. You pretty much will get what you need when you put in the work. Nothing is handed to you, you have to basically do the work. But they are very helpful. I’m going to get everything I came here for. Nothing, and no one is perfect so of course there are pros, and cons wherever you go. I’ve read the comments, and as I can’t deny or agree with them because each individual’s experience will be different. I plan on making my experience here beneficial. Have a blessed day!
They do wonderful things. We are glad we could assist
