The staff are friendly until you move in. Sue the lady u will deal with is short and snippy . The maintenance people will com into your apt and take pictures of anything they think is a violation.
Staff and employees are so nice and courteous
Currently live here. Housing manager is rude and condescending, attempts to micromanage residents of Pine Mill, makes unnecessary personal remarks to tenants, makes threats. The plumbing needs to be completely gutted and redone, the bathroom floor is rotting, the electrical is outdated by decades, kitchens are too small to be useful for even cooking a meal, the cupboards are old and nasty and some have water damage somehow, the school-cafeteria tile on the floors looks FILTHY no matter how much you scrub, the brand new fans in the bathroom literally do not work at all. Mold began to grow in the bathroom AFTER they installed the new fans. Virginia HRA wastes money to attempt to make the outside of the buildings look "nice," while they are literally falling apart inside. A lot of police activity here, as well. There are always cops here. IDK what goes on, I keep to myself.
It's a classic 3 star housing development with all the crime, violence and fatherless children one would expect to find in a housing project located in a much larger city. With cheap rent, in-house daycare and free dining nearby...you couldn't hope to find a better summer home in the Hamptons .
