Chesterbrook Academy

When my son started preschool in September 2025, the transition was very difficult for him. Drop-offs were filled with tears for months, and as parents, it was heartbreaking to watch. But since January, he walks in smiling and confident — and that change has meant the world to our family. A very special thank you to Ms. Ivanna for her incredible patience, kindness, and gentle reassurance. My son absolutely adores her and talks about her constantly at home. The way she connects with children and makes them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn is truly special. We feel so grateful that he has her as a teacher. We also sincerely appreciate Ms. Jesse, she was also kind and supportive. In his new classroom, Ms. Bella and Ms. Whitney have been so warm and welcoming, helping him continue to grow with confidence and happiness. We are deeply thankful to Ms. Patti and Ms. Nicole for the heart they pour into this school. Their leadership is reflected in the wonderful teachers they bring into the classrooms. Because of their vision and care, the school feels warm, safe, and like a second home for our child. As parents, that peace of mind means everything to us.

Our kids started at Chesterbrook in January, and they have been loving their new school. Not only were they able to adjust quickly with the support of their teachers, they are thriving. My pre-K kiddo is has been strengthening her letter writing skills with the help of Miss Stacie and Miss Haley. My toddler has been having a blast learning with Miss Kayli and Miss Sarah, and my infant is in the best care with Miss Kenya, Miss Tara, and Miss Talia. Not to mention Miss Ida who spends time with all my littles. All the teaches send daily updates and photos which helps keep parents in the loop and strengthens the parent-teacher connection. As someone who struggles to be away from my kids, I feel so comfortable leaving my kids in their care each day and know that they will be well cared for, supported, and loved while they learn and grow.

Love the teachers and staff at Chesterbrook! They take such good care of my daughter. Ms. Ivanna especially! She’s so kind and patient with all the children. My daughter always says how good she is with her.

Update: My daughter has been at Chesterbrook for 5 months now and we are so happy with the teachers and staff. Ms. Patti and Ms. Nicole are the best! Chesterbrook is a true community and I am grateful everyday that my baby receives wonderful care. Ms. Kenya is a wonderful teacher - she is patient, kind, and passionate about early education. My daughter learned sign language after being in Ms. Kenya’s class for less than 1 week! —— After touring many daycares, we chose Chesterbrook for our daughter because of the kind, empathetic staff and excellent environment for her to be loved and to learn. Ms Talia and Ms Tara are so supportive and wonderful with our baby - we are very appreciative and impressed with their commitment and care.

Me and my wife looked for the perfect fit of our needs that we wanted for our son, and it took us a good 2 months before we stumbled upon the right one which is here at Chesterbrook in weddington. We absolutely love the staff, Mrs. Patti, Mrs. Nicole, Mrs. Yuro and Mrs. Christi are all great. They are who we see daily since that’s whose class our son is in. He loves his teachers and has thrived since starting here. He always has fun when he’s there and we can rest in reassurance that he’s in great hands and we never have to worry. We appreciate the staff so much for all they do to help support our family.
