This is our fourth year as a part of the Chesterbrook family. Both of our children have attended the school and Chesterbrook has never fallen short of phenomenal. Our oldest child just started kindergarten this year and his new teacher has complimented us about his knowledge and being ahead in class; we have Chesterbrook to thanks for that. Our youngest child is still enrolled and he looks forward to going to school every day. When we are home, he talks about how much he loves Ms Chelsea and Ms Ariana (and we love to brag about them too!). They make him feel safe, loved, and we can tell that he is learning a lot in their class as well. We feel so lucky that our children have been able to attend this school.
I am a SLP who services several students at Chesterbrook Academy and want to give a shout-out to the teachers who work there. Ms.Monica and Ms. Xia, for instance, always demonstrate concern for the children I see asking how they did in therapy and how they can support our goals to promote carry-over into the classroom. It makes me so happy to see all the language-rich centers set up and in full use when I am in there or walking past the room. Everything from sensory tables, to art centers, to house keeping… you name it, they’ve got it. Not only that but they are always modeling good language skills and encourage their kids to participate and at least try all activities. This is so important and great for their social skills. It is so rewarding to see the huge progress these kids make in the brief years they walk the halls at Chesterbrook. I also want to say thank-you for always including me in their special classroom activities. Whether they are shooting off bottle rockets, conducting experiments, or releasing thousands of lady bugs into the wild, there is never a lack of things to discuss with the kids. They are a lucky bunch of children to have such dedicated teachers who pack their days with fun and learning. I appreciate all they do to support their speech and language development. I also appreciate all their helpful tips they send my way like the special scissors Amazon just delivered that Ms. Monica told me about. I can’t wait to use them with the kiddos. You guys are GREAT! -🩷 Ms Gina
We made the decision to transfer our son from his previous academy to Chesterbrook right at his 3rd birthday. The transition was really hard for him and we were really beginning to question our decisions because he seemed to be struggling so much with adjusting to the new daycare. We are now almost 3 months into his time at Chesterbrook and thanks to extra effort and care from his amazing teachers, Chelsey (Chels) and Arianna, my son is excited to go to school in the morning and has found a safe place that he can learn and play with friends. We are beyond grateful for the effort and love that was put into making G feel safe, secure, and cared for. He is now thriving, growing, and learning which is all any parent could hope for when looking for a childcare provider.
We have been at Chesterbrook for two years and I cannot say enough good things. Besides a beautiful facility that is adequately staffed, lovely playground, and a robust schedule - they REALLY care. They send pictures, they all call my kiddo by name when we walk in, and love on him all day, and I never worry when he is there. When we get up in the morning I ask him if he wants to go to school he says "Yes!" Do you want to see your teacher's Miss. Chelsea and Miss. Adriana? "Yes!" For a 3 year old at 6am - that's pretty awesome!
After a rough experience with a different academy, we are so grateful to have joined Chesterbrook. From the first week we enrolled, my husband and I have felt such peace of mind knowing that our child is in the best possible hands. The Principal Ms. Jenny and Vice Principal Ms. Michelle are exceptional leaders — they set the tone for the entire school. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for the children make all the difference. Chesterbrook feels like a school, not a business. Our son just finished up the school year with Ms. Katie, and is now in Ms. Monica and Ms. Xia's class. All three of these women are exceptional. They go above and beyond to create an environment that feels both structured and nurturing, where our son can thrive. We love how they balance structured learning with plenty of time to play and just be a toddler. Conflict is solved through positive reinforcement, and we appreciate how they take the time to explain why a behavior isn't safe or helpful. We are so grateful for their dedication, kindness, and warmth. We couldn't imagine a better place for our child to grow and learn. While there are no all-day parent accessible cameras, teachers do a wonderful job sending pictures and updates throughout the day. I feel at peace with the updates and actually feel less anxiety than when I had parent accessible cameras. We have seen a positive shift in our child's attitude and behavior, and he's happy to go to school.
