What Parents Say
Reviews are mixed and appear to cover multiple programs at CCIU rather than just daycare services. Positive reviews praise easy access, parking, and one driving instructor. Negative reviews report unprofessional staff, harsh punishments, poor conditions, and inadequate support for students with special needs.
After a negative instructor experience with another organization I found my way to CCIU seeking driving lessons for my very anxious college student daughter. Shortly after registering with CCIU I received a message from instructor Ken Neeld confirming he would be working with my daughter as well as requesting some basic info on her driving experience. Right from the beginning I felt we were connected with a real professional that understood our particular challenges. During the course of her lessons, Ken provided skillful instruction in a very supportive, patient, and confidence building manner. And, my daughter passed her test on her first attempt and Ken was with us every step along the way. Our work with instructor Ken Neeld clearly exceeded our expectations and I strongly recommend him as an awesome
Teacher take number and talking to them on there own time then the teacher winter was to abt me to the other student Jenn
My daughter went to reach. She hated it and said it made her worse. The staff are unprofessional, they treat the kids bad. She got worse the longer she stayed there. They basically forced her to stay there. Even with good behavior she couldn't leave. The punishments were way too harsh. This place doesn't even educate kids well. I don't recommend.
This place sucks so much. The only way it might be helpful is so you don't have to go to full residential treatment; even then, I feel like that would be better for many people. Food sucks, staff sucks, building sucks, almost every aspect sucks. The teachers don't understand how to treat students attending with almost any form of respect. The dress code is dehumanizing, and the punishments often too severe. I witnessed disabled students on multiple occasions get pushed beyond their abilities and get hurt. Honestly it's crazy to me this place hasn't had some major overhaul yet.
staff: unprofessional, talk bad on students teachers: unprofessional, argue with other teachers, talk bad on students students: lots of physical fighting, bullying school building: tiny, claustrophobic, rats, infested by insects, bad food, no education. My brother's in this school experiencing this.
