If you value hands-on, experiential learning then Cheshire Nursery School is the place for your preschooler or Kindergartner. Both my children have attended programs here and we have only positive things to say. From writing plays to studying fine art (and letting it influence the constructions in the blocks area), my sons have been exposed to so many great units of study. Letting the Kindergartners interact with the Preschoolers has also developed my sons' senses of empathy and leadership. We had morning Kindergarten at Darcey and there was a bus available to transport from Darcey to CNS. The afternoon program runs until 5 PM - no extra after-school tuition, it's all included. Next year, Cheshire Nursery School will be opening it's outdoor classroom in a shady spot in the woods. We're sad to have to say goodbye, but we're so glad to have been a part of this wonderful program for the past few years.
