Great place to come and worship God. Everyone makes you feel welcome.
The songs sungs today is all new songs . It’s not feeling any spiritual at all , I believe most of the church worshipers will not know . There are no more old great songs singing like the hymns , which has a deep and spiritual meanings like , for example , “ How great though art” , “showers of Blessings, “Blessed assurance Jesus is mine “ , “ I surrender all” , “ Nothing but the blood of Jesus” , to name a few ! These old songs are still relevant to this day and is powerful when you sing , feel spiritual ! I don’t like the songs were song during worship today at all !
Big parking lot with plenty of space to teach someone stick shift, or to park for church. They also have a huge slide in the parking lot, which makes leaving church easy/fun. A little tricky to figure out where to enter as it has loop around parking but it's not to difficult. Easy access from the main roads with 2 entrances available for leaving/entering.
I met Greg Odell in 1989. I was a student at Antioch College. He and his ministry team came on my campus preaching about Jesus. At that time I had liked Jesus. I had a solid work history, a good academic record, I was an employed college student. I had excellent references. I prayed that sinners prayer with Greg Odell after we had a meal together. I told him my sins. He said “you do have something to worry about” anxiety set in. During another conversation I asked him what about the people at Antioch he said “ they are going to hell” I went back to New York City I stood in my mothers kitchen shouting about going to hell, I purchased razor blades. My mother was alarmed she put me in a hospital. I lost my education, my career path and my financial future. An old quote says “ it is easy terribly easy to shake a man’s faith in himself, to do so is devils work.”
