Cherry Hill Nursery School

As a parent with 2 out of my 3 kids going through this school ( my youngest will start in September) I can say with confidence that our children love going to CHNS every day. They've made so many new friends, learned a lot of new things, and had a lot of fun. As parents, it's wonderful to see our kids excited to go to school and happy when they come back home. The teachers and staff at Cherry Hill Nursery School are incredible. I can't recommend this school enough!

Wonderful first school experience for children - combining play, school/basic life skills, nature, and being a part of a community. I did the co-op option for both of my children and our "helping days" spent together at Cherry Hill are truly special. My oldest child graduated Cherry Hill and was prepared and excited to attend kindergarten. My younger child had a harder time transitioning to school and I was grateful that I could be involved and work with the wonderful Cherry Hill teachers and administration through times that she struggled. The Cherry Hill community is kind, friendly, and I highly recommend sending your child there, if you are looking for a part-time program.

I could not imagine a better preschool for my children than Cherry Hill Nursery School. The teachers are absolutely incredible! They are kind, loving, enthusiastic, and implement important life lessons daily. Their years of experience and training in early childhood education is beyond impressive. The multidisciplinary approach to learning through play, science, reading, art, and nature that is offered at CHNS is invaluable. CHNS has been beyond just a school for our kids, it's a community we've become part of in the Princeton area. The school has created a welcoming inclusive culture where families enjoy spending time together often outside of school activities. My kids LOVE school, look forward to going every morning, and talk about their school day each evening:) They've made great friends at CHNS. Highly recommend!

This school is a rare gem. This was our 3 year olds first time in any school, and he THRIVED! The teachers are all so warm and welcoming, and very engaged with the students. It is a true community that you build being involved with Cherry Hill Nursery School. The staff is amazing, and most teachers and staff were at one point parents of students, so they are very invested in the wellbeing of the children here. We intentionally skipped out on the public preK this year so he could finish out with Cherry Hill. Truly could not recommend this school more for littles starting out in PreK!

So glad I found CHNS when we first moved to town...I cannot write enough about how much we loved our experience there! We loved the amazing teachers (we have since met other alumni from years ago who still remember how much their kids loved their teachers at CHNS and how well their kids were prepared for kindergarten!). We also especially loved the opportunities to get involved with the school community and meet other families. Having moved several times through the last few years we have experienced several preschools and while they were all good, CHNS really stands out to us as providing a warm, nurturing environment where we made long-term friendships with other families. I am really going to miss it now that our youngest is going to Kindergarten!
