The programs I have accessed have been very helpful and staff has always been friendly, especially the woman who works at the LIHEAP desk. The only thing I would say though is they NEVER answer the phone it just rings and rings. I always have to go in person for any question and transportation is difficult for me.

I'm not saying this place don't help, cause it most likely does. But I went in to turn in my paperwork to get help and the woman at the counter was rude and unprofessional. Straight asked me if i had all my copies and pointed to were it was. Not even a "get if you don't it's ok we got you" nope just a rude point. So i literally walked off and was like "well guess I have to figure out how to pull money from the sky" as this woman came after me. Like sorry you are already rude so honestly what makes you think that I'm even wanting to talk to you after all that. Sorry I'm damn sure not talking to someone that just triggered me like that. It wouldn't be a nice conversation in just saying. and what's the point of having people work there if you aint even going to try to answer the damn phone. PLEASE MAKE ALL OF THIS NON SENSE MAKE SENSE CAUSE IT DONT

They said no indirectly for energy program assistance. They claimed during application interviews for energy assistance program that someone used my social security number and they will fix this and this process takes forever. and season is gone. It is a nice way to say no based on skin color It seems that someone in Springfield does not care about his job and correct his mistakes. He may be spending his winter time in Bahama.
