The development center looks amazing and it seems that they spent a lot of money to look aesthetically pleasing. Although, they should have allocated funds to hire experienced educators. My son was in this school in the 2-3 year old class. More times than not, I witness teachers look stressed and have very little patience with the infants once the parents leave the class room. The “teachers” curriculum is based on a handbook full of check boxes of activities which your child can or can’t do. If you child can’t do a third of those activities then “teachers” sit you down and make you feel like your child has severe learning disabilities and recommends that you get an evaluation for your child. Long story short, the evaluation team suggested to remove my son from the development center because of severe anxiety. I do give thanks to those teacher assistant (Mrs.Ally and Mrs. Erika) and Cerritos student assistant that did make my son feel safe.
Nice center esthetically pleasant, lady in the front Alicia is not the most welcoming though. I overheard a teacher, i think her name is Diana speaking rudely to both children and staff. No special education class , curriculum or teachers. Odd for being such a nice modern center. The visuals are not important though the people are.
