This is a great program for low income families!!! They provide meals, snacks after school & summer program... Giving children productive activities to participate in such as computers, arts & crafts, photography, dance, poetry &much more!!! my son & niece attend & they luv it!!! They are more then a program they've become family :)
Centro Nueva Creacion is a wonderful organization that serves children and youth in a community that is often neglected. Centro teaches the importance of cultural identity. Centro provides after-school and summer camp programs. Many of the activites include: Cultural dance like Bomba and Plena, poetry, photography, arts and crafts relating to the theme they are learning. Their photography has been on exhibits in places like the Penn Museum and the School of fine arts. They key word in their mission is...resilience. Centro has taught many generations how to be resilient during tough times. Centro is an example of that, when they were in crisis themselves.
They are the best Organization that provides help to families and children during throughout the whole school year and in the summer I would stand tall for this organization anytime.
Bursting with the creative energy of a caring community committed to the people!
Great program
