My children have been going to this school for the past three years. As a person of color I was a little hesitant because I grew up in Hialeah and there was a lot of racism and colorism in my childhood. I wanted my children to speak and understand Spanish, like me, especially living in South Florida. I choose this school because my mother works there and I got to see first hand the care, patience, and cultural love of the teachers, staff, and other parents years before having my own children. This school and it's programs are all about community. Does it need more diversity, yes. This was another reason why I chose to put my curly haired, brown skinned, Afro -Caribbean kids here. To represent the variety of what we look like in a space that's working on accepting everyone. I will miss it here ❤️.
I’ve seen so much growth in my child since joining centro mater west at 18 months of age . The curriculum is engaging, and the staff is clearly passionate about child development. It gives me such peace of mind to know my child is in such good hands. Very organized , caring compassionate with every kid!
My daughter began at this Center at Kindergarten , now she will began 1 Grade and she will continue all her Grades at MAE ! The Teacher are excellents and very lovely with all the Students , also the Staff are excellent , and the Security is extreme ! Thank you MAE for taking care of my daughter 🌹, she having Fun now at Summer Camp the After Care Staff is excelent , the teachers are unique and super caring ! Highly Recomended ! Thank You MAE !
I am so happy and grateful to Centro Mater West II. Maria at the front desk, Mr. Hanel and Ms. Aguada are the best. They communicate great with the parents and have so much patience with the kids. My son is so happy to attend.
I have had nothing but good experiences with Centro Mater west II after care. Both my kids have attended after care and they help with homework and summer time actually the best. The field trips, and projects they do is amazing. The teachers are super sweet and you can tell that they really care. The after care is even in the same facility of the school. I truly recommend this after care.
