If you are considering buying a home please take this FREE First time homebuyers class before you do anything!!! They will teach you everything step by step about home buying! It's amazing! ITS FREE!!!! I am so glad I took it. I feel much more prepared to buy a home after taking this class and having a session with one of the homeownership counselors. Also, they inform you about all of the funds available to first time home buyers in Miami Dade County, how to access these funds and what lenders help to do the paperwork to access the funds!!!
Supervisor Francisco is such a kind and caring person. He went beyond and aboveTo help my family have an efficient, safer home. I really appreciate you! Joanne Mignano
My husband and I had a terrible experience here. First, we came for our first time home buyer 8 hour course only to have speakers who barely knew what they were talking about. You would ask them questions and they would often say "I'm not sure but you can go online and find out." Other speakers would say one thing and the next speaker would contradict it. All speakers basically read straight off the powerpoints and two speakers didn't show up so they had any worker cover but obviously they didn't know about the topic they were reading. The only speaker we actually learned from was the inspector and the speaker on discrimination. Throughout the entire 8 hours what they mainly did was take pictures of the attendees to justify why they should continue to receive funding from the government. One good thing was they offered snacks for breakfast and pizza for lunch. Once the class is over they still don't give you your certificate even if you've already been pre-qualified because they want you to have to come back that way it seems as if theyre working. We made an appointment with the main counselor only to have them cancel the day of like an hour prior to our appointment time. Extremely unprofessional.
Centro Campesiino has been effective in changing the living conditions of South Florida’s Poor. It allows immigrants and poor people to own subsidized high quality houses!! As a researcher of nearby areas I was able to provide evidence to Centro Campesino’s Board of the need to expand its programs beyond its present area of influence. In nearby counties, farm workers are not only exploited but pay excessive rents for living in appalling conditions.
