The service that they supposedly offer is great in theory and occasionally if everything works out just right then you can get some assistance from them. However, I have had them assure me that leaving my information on a voicemail would be sufficient because the information they were requesting was time sensitive and my transportation at the time was spotty at best so going back and forth multiple times a day to the office was becoming unfeasible. Well, either nobody checked that voicemail or they did not understand the phrase time sensitive or they just didn't care because they never followed up with their part after that. That meant I had you call back to Amber and get another pending account number because my gas got shut off. But that was the second pending account number and when you have to request a third one then you have to pay another deposit to get your gas back on. Now just keep in mind that I have lived in the same residence for over 5 years and never had a problem paying my bill. I'm not a person that jumps from organization to organization just so I don't have to pay my own way. But when it's necessary I don't have a problem but you expect that the organization that claims they'll help you will actually do their job and help you. Because sadly what happens is they're slacking is going to make it harder on the person who's already struggling. I'm sure like every other state county organization they are not flooded with employees however, I know they could hire one person to field and distribute voicemails, faxes, and general emails to the appropriate party. Ss it is now it really seems like a gamble with very poor odds whether or not your information will ever make it into the building, much less to the correct person. Bonus points for the receptionist with the attitude.

im not sure about the food distribution part, but i do know that as the location listed for faxing or turning in the Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) Apps, it never gets recieved. It is nice to be reassured to just fax it in, just send it in.... Someone on their side im sure is to blamee. Its not even put in the system. Im not worried now, I paid my bill after they shut me off with little ones in the house and cold as hell outside. Thanks for nothing... several different times now.
