Central Methodist Church Day Nursery School

I highly recommend Central Methodist Nursery School. I attended their programs when I was a child and now have my children in their programs. As a work from home mom I was very hesitant to send my two year old to the 2’s program due to feeling like it was too early. I spoke to Ms. Jenna in the front office and she highly recommended it so I went ahead and enrolled him. It was a very good decision, my 2 year old loves it and I feel that he has really improved with his talking and he is saying full words and starting to form full sentences. Whenever he sees Ms. Desi or Ms. Shelby in the hallway he takes off running to give them a big hug. My 4 year old is now in the 4’s class and was in the 3’s class last year and she absolutely loves it. Her behavior has gotten a lot better and she has made so many friends. If you’re looking for a preschool for your children this one is amazing. You can tell the staff love what they do and they love your children.

My daughter went to Central Methodist and we LOVED IT! All the teachers were so nice, patient, and thoughtful. They take great care in creating a fun, safe, and educational environment. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and be active in your children’s experience. The staff makes each day creative and entertaining. As a mother I cried the first day after dropping my daughter off- it’s so hard letting go of your babies. But this school makes it easy to let your littles grow up because you know they are in good hands. My daughter is in the 4th grade and she still talks about her teachers at Central Methodist. If you are looking for a preschool- this one is it. You and your children will love it!

Both my boys attend this school. It is the most affordable and best fit my work schedule. I feel confident dropping them off knowing that they are in safe hands. You have the option to be a volunteer “working parent” which gives me peace of mind that there is no shady business. You hear in the news of kids being mistreated and i feel like that would be hard to do where there is always a volunteer parent around watching the teacher and the aide. I love that they send you a schedule of what is planned for the day. They make sure to always have play time and arts and crafts. I highly recommend bringing your little ones here.

This is such a great preschool! They take kids as young as 2 years (2 hours, twice a week) up to kids who are 4 in the fall (2, 3, or 5 day a week for 3 hours per day). Extended programming is available several days a week. The kids engage in tons of activities and have lots of time to explore their imaginations. The teachers are very involved. Whenever anyone asks on the local Facebook page for preschool recommendations, this school is always highly recommended by multiple parents.

Central Methodist Nursery School holds a special place in our hearts. My now 2nd grader cherished his time there, thanks to the amazing teachers who made learning a joy. The genuine excitement he displayed running into one of his former teachers recently speaks volumes about the lasting connections formed. It's a testament to the school's warm and supportive atmosphere that lingers even as he progresses through grade school. Highly recommended for a positive early learning experience!
