My first time coming here, while visiting from Ft Worth, Texas. I travel quite a bit, and this is exactly why I joined the YMCA... "because they're nationwide". I love seeing how each community supports their Y, along with the very different buildings, architecture and cultural influence from each city. Roseburg has a beautiful complex with an outstanding aquatic center. I'm a swimmer, so I'm "partial to pools" 💦 Nice and clean environment, and the locker rooms didn't smell or feel dated, with plenty of new machines and free weights to choose from in large rooms separating different functions. A bright looking spin room with high ceilings, new rowing machines next door in a cardio room, nice lounging areas, and a ping pong table! Plenty of parking in a secure area close to the well lit entryway...and my "out of towner" check in process was simple and fast. I can't wait to return next month and keep my exercise routine consistent as I continue to move about. Nice job Roseburg 💪✔️

Love this place! Great and friendly customer service, lots of activities for different ages plus special events. Have gone to several events and special groups that has encouraged my children to have fun, learning different physical activities plus for a while had a special class on protecting children from predators. I love the fact that other organizations that helps the community are able to have events, classes and even to pop in for activities. Strongly recommend this place for family or even personal growth. I will admit that if you're starting out on trying to lose weight there is few classes geared for senior citizens and seems to be early in the day vs. afternoon or early evening. Wish there was some nutrition class and a class to help younger adults and children to learn beginning exercising and healthier choices that can be made at home.

I'm very disappointed in the discrimination against children with the pool schedule. If you had "open swim" for all members during the day then I would keep my membership. I wrote an email expressing this concern and was never responded to. The only reason we have this membership is to take our children swimming and couple hours in the evenings doesn't work for us. There is no reason for "adult only" swimming so often. I pay for my kids to have memberships and they should get to use the pool when there is no class. Adults can sign up for a class if they want adult only swim. I've been a member at several other YMCA facilities and have never had this problem. The membership is useless to me, it is not a family friendly facility.

It would be respectful and common sense if the Y would avoid planning very strong chemical laminate jobs on a Friday afternoon right before Parkview Skating has a scheduled skate every week. These jobs should be done after hours or at the very least at low impact times. Parkview had to open all the door just to make it breathable, and it was 90 degrees out. I know there is friction between the Y and Parkview... You both offer a huge amount of good to the public. I need yall to hug and accept eachother's differences. I can speak with certainty that the people running Parkview are incredibly generous and kind on the whole, and I see their positive impact on Roseburg every day I go in. This is a vital asset to Roseburg. Please support it.

The YMCA is a great place for families! They offer childcare watch for couples who’d like to workout together (which is hard to find anywhere), gym, fitness classes, swimming, sports for kids, skating rink, and much more! What’s nice is you can become a member with unlimited childcare watch for around $125 per month (which we don’t have but would love to have) and you can utilize any YMCA in America. You’d have a place to workout, swim and shower while out of town, just as long as you utilize your local YMCA the majority of the time. Pictures shown here are from a recent birthday party. You can rent out the entire skating rink for around $300 and bring your party food and enjoy the place all to yourselves! Your guests can skate, just tell them your size of shoe and you can use a stroller for your baby or a push rack to help prevent falls. We haven’t skated since high-school and this was our kids first skate session! We had fun!
