I go to church on Fridays when we have English classes . Thank you very much for this opportunity! Our teachers are very nice ladies, they are always open-hearted, ready to understand and help. My little son loves the nursery.
I went there in 1997. I had just got out of basic training and AIT, for the Army. The church was close to home I was young. After service I asked about becoming a member. They asked what college or university I went to. I said I don't, I work. Well the groups we have for people your age are all in college. The only ones not in school, are divorced or widowed. I wasn't good enough to join. I'll never forget it. Well I wasn't good enough to be around people my own age. I don't live in Knoxville anymore. But when I do go there on occasion. Whenever we drive by that church. It's a reminder of how I wasn't good enough to join a church.
My son went to VBS last week and he really enjoyed it! Each day he came home with a craft he did, a story of Jesus and some songs. The staff at the church were wonderful & sweet by directing us how to get around the church, since our 1st time there was during VBS.
