This program is NO GOOD FOR KIDS . I called to make a complaint about a staff member who failed to report something as a mandated reporter ! my child went on to get hurt by a person she warned the staff member about ! Ken the owner of this establishment told me that (My bonus child ) was known to be a liar & it happened 2 yrs ago what did I want him to do ?( had no clue there was an expropriation date on making things right ) ! Well KEN if a child attends your school & your staff member fails to report an issue, and the child goes on to get hurt after that , IT IS YOUR Responsibility!!!! report anything child tells you not you call the child a liar !!!!! That’s what the staff members did . As mandated reporters we have a responsibility to the children in our care !!! As mandated reporters , we report & let the courts work it out ! (It is not up to any staff member to call any child a liar ) My child didn’t have to get hurt if the staff member would have done her job !!! As a mandated reporter & a human being!!! Ken wasn’t sorry at all !!!!! (right after I reminded him they were mandated reporters) he stated DCF was called … That was a lie , for we were never informed!!! Ken told me himself (my child was known as a liar, ) I asked him if was he serious & he said yes ! Shame on you Ken & Lori shame on you !!!! Lori had been a teacher for over 30 yrs !!!! According to Ken !!! She failed my child & who how many other kids went on to be hurt because of her carelessness or unwilling to do her job !! I’m also calling the chicopee school department & making an official complaint on her & on Ken !! No other kids need to get hurt because of their carelessness!!! We should never tell a child they are liars !!!! That’s what they did !!!! This is why monsters get away with everything! Because of people like Ken & his staff members!!

Ken and his staff are great. My son has been going there for a little over a year now. He went from a camper to now finding a love for martial arts. They have Been there for the kids during all this change working hard to give my son and others the best summer and after school care possibly.

I can only speak to the Mon and Wed evening Tae Kwon Do classes my 10 year old son participates in. He was initially hesitant to join and go to tournaments. But Instructor Ken builds an excellent rapport with the kids and has a way of teaching self confidence and discipline that every child seems to benefit from. Ken, thank you for your contribution in building my son to be better than before.

Ken, Lori, and all of the staff are amazing! I had all three of my kids in the before/after school program as well as the summer camp and they really enjoyed it. The trips and activities that they have available during the summer are amazing not to mention the help with homework at the after-school program. I am so grateful for the CFMAF family.

My younger brother started attending classes about 10-11 years ago. Then my kids few years ago. Periodically they attend summer camp which is absolutely awesome and includes a lot of outdoor time such as hiking, fishing, ocean beach. Ken absolutely loves kids and the rest of the stuff are super friendly and kind. They work with each child individually to find a right approach and build connection. I highly recommend this program.
