Highly recommend NOT sending your children here. Our daughter was bit 15 times in 10 weeks and we were told there was nothing they could do about it and when they had availability to move her classrooms they moved the known biters in the same room as her. The director said she would never remove a child from the daycare for biting others when they are under the age of 2.5. When I asked the director to follow their biting policy I was told it’s just a phase and I clearly don’t understand what daycare is like because this happens all the time. I understand children do bite but my daughter being bit that many times that frequently is NOT normal or okay. Also my daughter had a dairy allergy and they fed her dairy several times because they “didn’t know there was dairy” in what they fed her that the daycare provided. They also did not follow the state child to teacher ratio several times. When my daughter was an infant and not crawling we would come pick her up to see her having cried herself to sleep on the floor face down and no teacher attempting to move her to a crib. None of the teachers nor the director actually seem to care about the well being of your children. They have been written up by the state several times and for instances that I have mentioned above, so it has happened to several children and what I have mentioned above is not a one off.
Celebrations is a great daycare. My daughter (nearing age 3) has already learned how to identify and spell her first and last name, so they are working on her middle name. I'm happy with the communication that the staff provides and the safe environment my child can enjoy while I'm at work.
If you care about your children don’t go there. First time my daughter got hurt her chin was swollen. All they said kids have accidents all the time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. She got hurt again the next day with a huge scratches going down her Face. They said they didn’t notice. No accident report was made by them.
Your child will be loved. That's the most important thing. Our daughter is well above her current developmental stage and its because of the staff.
Love Celebrations daycare and they way they treat my child. I feel very comfortable trusting them with my child’s care. This place and the staff are fantastic!
