I recently contacted Community Renewal Team seeking information about homelessness housing services, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The staff member I spoke with, whose name may have been Alberta, came across as dismissive and standoffish. Her tone made me feel talked down to while I was simply trying to understand what assistance might be available. The call itself lasted only about three minutes, yet the interaction still felt uncomfortable and unhelpful when I was genuinely trying to get guidance on services. I understand staff deal with many difficult situations, but people reaching out for help are often already under stress. Respectful and professional communication is important in service roles like this. I hope this feedback helps improve future client interactions.
At the Windsor Street Hartford CT location the lady at the front desk...I think her name is Alberta Walker or Williams has always been welcoming and a huge help to me. She was out of the office on my last visit a few weeks ago, and 2 other ladies were helpful. The first one was on her way out of the door as I was coming in and was kind enough to ask if she could help me, instead of just leaving. She called to another lady, and a Chevea Brown escorted me to her office and helped me. She was great also...asked the right questions, listened, and informed me on next steps and what was needed.
Waiting on assistance, however, they picked up the phone with an extremely pleasant demeanor. They have an excellent reputation. I've dealt with 211, CRH & HOUSE OF BREAD, who were rude, unpleasant, lied and DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP. NO SENSE OF URGENCY OR EMPATHY.
If I could leave a 0 stars I would. Let me just start off by saying I chose this daycare for my daughter because I thought it would help her. For her first time being in daycare this was the WORST experience ever! I will NEVER send my daughter back to CRT daycare the doors are never locked when i went to go pick my daughter up, she would be sent home with her diaper full, no kind of communication in the school or throughout the day about what my child is doing/eating NOTHING. my daughter lasted a month in this program and was sick the first 2 weeks she started. THE WORST DAYCARE ever don’t send your kids here unless you want them sick every other day.
Instead of thinking realistically a lot of the workers think with emotions which is horribly unprofessional on a lot of levels due to the fact that emotions are more important than reality of life and it's just sad literally because I really don't even know what else to say because why
