When I had signed my 11 month old up, I informed them that she was potty training. They placed her in the 6wk-12 month class for the whole school year even though she was 11 months. At 15 months, she was potty trained but since she was in the infant room, she had to wear a diaper there. At 18 months, I was told she would be in a classroom with a bathroom for the 2023-2024 school year. Now at 19 months, Carla and Diamond stated on Monday, Thursday, and Friday the week after April break that she won’t be in a classroom with a bathroom until the school year 2024-2025 since she’ll only be 23 months when school starts this upcoming August so she’d have to wear a diaper while she’s at the center. INSANE. I called the director of the program for Atlanta and Carla straight lied to her stating that I was never told that and that my baby would be in a class with a bathroom come August, BUT I had already pulled her out the day before since she had told me different. When I had left the center, a parent stopped me saying that they put her son behind potty training for the same reason except she had to work so she couldn’t pull him out. Do not lie to parents because you don’t know how to do your job. I will be taking this matter further so no other parent nor child has to suffer due to your lies to cover yourself. I also emailed her to have a paper trail and she never responded. She knows she’s in the wrong. Good, convenient program, but the integrity and your child’s well-being is not there. Would definitely use this program again, just not at any center Carla is running.
I just did an application for my 1yr old son. Tristana is on top of her job. She emails, txt and don't have an attitude with answering your questions. He hasn't been approved yet but I'm still impressed with the services I have received so far. I also seen security there so that's always a plus for me...
Do NOT bring your child here! The appearance fooled me. But your child will learn absolutely nothing. I transferred her to Head of the Class in Lithonia. She started to excel within a week. Ms. Nicole is the absolute BEST Pre K teacher BY FAR. Appearances aren't always everything and I learned the hard way.
Ghetto. Unprofessional. You can tell people here get free daycare and the workers here only care about their paycheck. It's a shame and so disappointing. If you want the best for your child, run away and seek a real daycare. It's ok to pay a little bit more money for what your son or daughter deserves. They're worth it and your peace of mind.
