What Parents Say
This appears to be a community college campus rather than a daycare center. Reviews praise the beautiful grounds, professional administration, quality academic programs, and dedicated faculty across various departments.
Great place to take a class or just a walk. The school of horticulture keeps this campus looking amazing. This campus also just added Fast Track HVAC. The new HVAC lab is amazing
My class has not yet begun, but I can already provide a positive review based on my interactions with the administration team. Every individual I've communicated with via email or phone from the Admissions, Registrars Office, or Student Services has been remarkably professional and helpful. They made the class registration process easy, and their response time was impeccable. Their professionalism and friendliness have left me hopeful for a high-quality learning experience.
Attended a ceremony for new RNs. Very nice facility.
I have a love-hate relationship with CCBC. They will help you financially- I am a mother of two children and did college for essentially free for two years. I was able to get federal aid, scholarships and loans. Though I had a laptop, they did have a free laptop day where they gave students free computers and it was generous. They have some amazing clubs you can join for a chance to travel for free, apprenticeship programs and stipend programs. Doing online schooling was very trying at times- the “fully asynchronous” classes were not all fully online- The math classes you will have to come to campus for every 2-3 weeks to test. There are some amazing professors in this school and absolutely horrendous professors all blended together. I suggest utilizing ‘rate my professor’ before enrolling into your classes.
If you are an older student who is considering furthering your education, trust me DO IT! It will be the best decision you will ever make! Last year I was considering taking courses to get enough credits to enter the field as an addiction counselor. After the 1st semester I did so well I decided to keep going. Now Im an honors student getting ready to graduate, and already earned enough credits after only 1 semester I am working in a field I love and received a pell grant and opted to get student loans to offset the cost of my bills so I can focus on my education. It's a WIN WIN situation! Invest in yourself! You got this and if Human Services is your field Dr. McCadden is your person who will walk you through the entire progress! By the way the nest professor on earth is Professor Falcon! If you can learn from anyone its her! She is amazing!
