I signed up my kids to Casa dei Bambini in 2020, just before the pandemic. Then, the school closed exactly for the months we would be there, and we had already paid. I had to chase them for months to get my money back, and even so, I only got about half. I heard from other parents that this school cares more for the money than the education of the kids. There are many better pre-schools in Palo Alto! -- Adding more context based on the reply from the school. My kids never went to the school, I paid before we moved here and since the service was never provided I asked for my money back. We had never committed to a full year but only to 2 months with a potential registration to the following year up to our discretion. Everybody acts with honesty when things are going well, but it is in times of stress that lines are crossed. We were new in the area, my job was uncertain and we were under massive stress. I explained it over 20 emails to the school, but they decided not to pay us back.
